Sam Farley is back to break down the best prop bets for Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints

Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints Prop Bets And Predictions

It's Christmas Day and we have football. Is there any present better than that? I doubt it. We've crunched the numbers and studied the stats to look for angles to attack the books with today. Here are the best prop bets available.

1u - Jared Cook Receiving Yards - Under 36.5 @ -112

The Vikings are fairly middle of the pack when it comes to playing tightends and they face Jared Cook this week, a tightend who himself is fairly middle of the pack when it comes to NFL starting TEs. He's always capable of a big game but he's exceeding 36.5 yards just four times all season, with 3 of those coming in the first 8 weeks, meaning it's only happened once in the past 7 weeks. If you play the percentages, this one makes sense.

1u - Alvin Kamara Receptions - Over 5.5 @ -164

The line looks so low at 5.5 and we simply have to take the over here. There are three principal reasons for this. Firstly, the Vikings aren't great against running backs and have the 22nd best record in the league in terms of scrimmage yards allowed to the position. Secondly, Drew Brees is now back under center, and he loves to get Kamara involved. Finally, and most importantly, now that Michael Thomas is on IR, it's even more likely that we see the Saints rely on Kamara.
