Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Predictions
Leg 1: Ravens -13 @ -106
The Ravens need to win here and they face a Bengals team with nothing but pride to play for, no Joe Burrow and various other stars missing. This is a routine Ravens victory, but will they cover the fairly large spread? I think that they will.
The Ravens appear to have gotten over a midseason funk and are playing at a very good level right their, they're arguably the best team in their division now and it could be said that they're the form team in the conference. Besides a tight game against the Browns their past 4 games have seen big margins of victory and that should continue here.
Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Predictions
Leg 2: Cowboys -1.5 @ +100
We praised the Ravens for a team who are finding form at the right time but it looks like things are starting to click for Andy Dalton in Dallas. They aren't a real force and would likely be one and done in playoffs but he's finding his targets, with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb all finding the endzone last time out.
The Giants defense has been fairly impressive but a motivated Cowboys can put them to the sword here and I think they'll cover this line with ease. In fact it may be worth looking for an alternative and bigger line for them to cover. Very confident in this one.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns Predictions
Leg 3: Browns -9.5 @ +100
No Big Ben for a team who has already won the divison, they're already trying resting their stars, something they've wanted to do for some time now. It wouldn't be a surprise to see them use their entire roster this game and let some of the second string guys see the field more.
I can't with those risks in play bring myself to back Pittsburgh, even against the Browns. Cleveland will be so motivated and hungry for victory here, especially against a Mason Rudolph-led team, that this feels like a time to back them, even with the 9.5 point hit.
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots Predictions
Leg 4: Jets +3 @ -106
One last twist in the tail for the Jets, who have played pretty well over the past few weeks, as they look to defeat Bill Belichick, the man who has put so much misery upon them.
The Jets have now won two on the spin, losing the first overall pick in the process. It shows us a lot about the heart of this team that they wouldn't go down easy and I fully expect this season closer for both teams, to descend into being a war.
It looks like Cam Newton isn't the answer for New England but with the worst group of skill players in the entire league, around him, it was always going to be a tough ask. There are at least some glimmers of hope for the Jets and I have full faith that they'll end the Adam Gase era with a win today.
