Ben Rolfe breaks down his prop picks for Sunday's nightcap
ANALYSIS

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prop Bets And Predictions

Look for the Browns to lean heavily on Nick Chubb

With limited practice time this week, the Browns are likely going to trust what they know in this game. The Browns have rushed for over 100 yards in eight of their previous nine games, and 13 of their 16 this season. The Steelers restricted them to 75 yards back in Week 6 but allowed 192 in Week 17.

In the past four weeks, the Steelers have allowed over 100 yards each time. In that period, they have allowed an average of 143.8 rushing yards per game. In terms of the success for Chubb, he has over 60 yards in three of the last five, and eight times this season. The Browns have given him double-digit carries in all but one game this season. Averaging over 5.5 yards per attempt, Chubb likely only needs between 10 and 15 carries to hit his rushing yardage prop this week.

1u – Nick Chubb over 65.5 rushing yards @ -115

Kareem Hunt should also be heavily utilized

Hunt has not been all that effective recently, but has managed over 30 rushing yards in three of his last five. He saw 10 carries against the Steelers in Week 17, and should be in line for that sorty of number this week.

We have already the Steelers’ deficiencies against the run this season, and that benefits Hunt as well.

1u – Kareem Hunt over 27.5 rushing yards @ -110

The Steelers’ offense has been pass-heavy this season

The Steelers’ passing game has been ineffective since Week 11. They have gone over 300 passing yards just three times. However, two of those three games have come in the past two weeks. Over those two games, the Steelers’ have averaged 315.5 passing yards.

Roethlisberger appeared to get back into form in the second half of Week 16. Look for Roethlisberger to lean heavily on his arm, as the Steelers have attempted the most passes in the league this season.

1u - Ben Roethlisberger over 289.5 passing yards @ -110

Is there any value in the anytime touchdown market?

Two names to keep an eye on are Jarvis Landry (+240) and Austin Hooper (+300). Landry has caught four touchdowns in his last five games, while Hooper has three in his last five. The Browns have not been as dependent on Chubb and Hunt near the goal line in recent weeks. With a full complement of offensive weapons, both Landry and Hooper are intriguing touchdown scoring options
