Denver Broncos vs New York Jets Same-Game Parlay
The Denver Broncos are sitting at 2-0 after demoralizing Daniel Jones and Trevor Lawrence in back-to-back weeks. Now, it’s Zach Wilson and the Jets coming to town for a Week 3 matchup.
Wilson is coming off an awful four-pick performance against Bill Belichick’s defense. Can he bounce back in Week 3 or will the Broncos defense claim another young quarterback victim? Let’s see what we can do to make some cash with a three-leg same-game parlay.
Denver Broncos -4.5 1st Half
In the first two games, the New York Jets have put up a combined three points through the first half. They’ve started almost impossibly slow in each of the first two games of the season while the Broncos have put up 10 points in the first half in each of their first two games.
The Broncos have a really good shot at hitting this number if they get to 10 points. Heck, they might have a shot at this number even if they score five points. Yes, this sounds like a big number for the half (just wait until the final) but this game really seems like it could get out of hand early for the Jets.
Denver Broncos Race to 25 Points
Last week they just missed out on this number by two points, while they hit it the week prior against the Giants. Now, to the Jets’ credit, they’ve played good football but based on what we’ve seen from the offense they likely will have to spend a majority of their time on the field.
Plus, you have to appreciate what Teddy Bridgewater has done so far. He’s averaged 296 passing yards per game to start the season and has four passing touchdowns to his name. With Noah Fant and Cortland Sutton as the main targets in the passing game, they should be able to put up somewhere around 27 points this week.
Denver Broncos -10.5
Since the start of last year, Denver has been favored just twice but they are 2-0 in those games with an average margin of victory of 12 points. They also sport a 9-4 record ATS against conference opponents and an 11-7 record overall since the start of the 2020 campaign.
The Jets trends also tend to lean in favor of the Broncos covering this number. They’ve been awful on the road going 2-7 against the spread since 2020 started. In those games, they’ve had an average margin of victory of -16.4.
Plus after a loss, they haven’t been much better covering just 35.7 percent of the time and with an average margin of victory of -15.4. In theory, the Broncos should be able to win this game by double digits fairly easily.
We should be looking at something around a 27-13 Broncos win which would give you all three legs of this parlay. If all of these come true, you’d be looking at a +185 return on your money.
