Monday Night Football Week 3 Same-Game Parlay Picks: Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles

There’s nothing quite like a rivalry matchup on Monday Night Football and that’s exactly what we have in Week 3. The Philadelphia Eagles head down on the road to Dallas to take on the Cowboys to close the third week of the season.

Both teams sit at 1-1 so there’s a chance that first place is on the line, depending on what happens with Washington on Sunday. With the Eagles coming off a loss, they’ll try to get the offense going as they did in Week 1 on the road.

For Dallas, they come off a win but the offense put up 20 points against the Chargers. They too will look to get their offense in gear against the Eagles this week, a defense that currently ranks third in the league.

Let’s try to make you some money on a three-leg same-game parlay for Monday Night Football.

Dallas Cowboys 1st Half

Eagles vs Cowboys Odds

For the first part of this parlay to hit, we’re taking the Cowboys to lead at the half. Through two games, the Cowboys have scored a lot in the first half. In the opener, they had 16 points at the half and last week they were sitting at 14.

They slowed down a little bit in the second half this year but jumping out to a good start sounds like the plan. To the Eagles' credit, they’ve done a really good job of keeping their opponents out of the endzone so it won’t be an easy task for Dallas.

They’re going to have to get both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard going on the ground again. They’ve had a very nice one-two punch this year, and if they can hold onto the ball with long drives eating the clock there’s no reason to think that they can’t lead at the half.

Dallas Cowboys Race to 25

Eagles vs Cowboys Odds

They only scored 20 last week but more often than not when Dak plays, his team puts up points. In Prescott’s last eight starts, the Cowboys have scored 25 points or more in six of those eight contests.

Also, in the last five times the Cowboys have played the Eagles at home, they’ve eclipsed that number four times. The lone time they didn’t was in 2017, the year the Eagles went on their Super Bowl run.

Dallas Cowboys -2.5

Eagles vs Cowboys Odds

The last leg is having the Cowboys cover the line at 2.5. All they have to do is win by at least a field goal. In his career, Dak is 24-11 at home and the Eagles haven’t won in Dallas since 2017 a game in which Prescott threw three picks.

Last year, Dallas was the worst team in the league against the spread going just 5-11 but they’re 2-0 to start off the 2021 campaign. Division matchups are usually close games but with the number only being 2.5, it’s much more palatable than having to lay more than three.

If all three of these legs of the parlay hit, you’re looking at a +210 return on the night. How bout them, Cowboys!
