San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
The 49ers are off to a 2-0 start after beating the Lions and the Eagles. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers rebounded from a horrendous Week 1 effort. The Packers returned to dominate in Week 2 as Rodgers put on an MVP-type performance. It looks like the MVP is back and ready to get the Packers deep into the postseason once again.
Just two years ago, these two teams met in the NFC Championship game in which the San Francisco 49ers advanced to the Super Bowl. The Packers found themselves there again in 2020. The 49ers have seemed to have Rodgers' number over his career but the Packers and Rodgers come into this game with something to prove.
On Monday night our touchdown picks for the Packers fared well when we cashed the obvious Aaron Jones pick but we also hit on Quintez Cephus who was +450. Not sure we'll find that same value Sunday night but we will do our best! These might not be longshots but these are the best picks for the price we're getting.
Those of you that don't know anytime touchdown scorer bets have become an unbelievably popular market for NFL betting. Many people look for the longshot touchdown scorer each week of the NFL season. Luckily, I've already done all of that research for you here for the Sunday night football matchup!
Even better than my picks is the OddscheckerUS website compares odds from every sportsbook for every NFL game. This includes odds for anytime touchdown scorers and we find where you can get the best price for your bet.
George Kittle (+150)
I think there's a chance we can see Kittle break out Sunday night. His numbers are a bit pedestrian to start the season but with a beatable Green Bay Packers linebacking group coming to town, that should change. Kittle has been on the field for more snaps than any other 49er so far this season. Including quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo. The Packers have already allowed three touchdowns to the tight end position in 2021 showing their vulnerability.
Davante Adams (+100)
The fact that this price is even available is flat-out ludicrous. It's not the sexiest pick or the craziest odds but even money on Adams to find the end zone, are you kidding? WE have to take this price. #Analysis. The 49ers secondary is battered with injuries at the moment. They signed veteran cornerback Josh Norman off the street last week. Arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL at +100 to score. I can't stop repeating that. I know he hasn't scored yet this season but that is sure to change Sunday night.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling (+333)
We went with Valdes-Scantling on Monday night and it ended up being the Aaron Jones show instead. Not to fear though because MVS led the NFL in yards per reception in 2020, so far the Saints and Lions have contained the Packers receivers. Rodgers has yet to throw a touchdown pass to one of his wide receivers. The way he looked on Monday this for sure is about to change against the 49ers. MVS again was second in targets to Adams out of the receiver group. He was on the field for more snaps than anyone not named Rodgers, Jones, or Adams. So there's reason to believe he can get going in Week 2 against the 49ers.
