Matt O'Leary gives his same-game parlay picks for the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals Week 4 matchup

Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals: Same-Game Parlay Picks

In what should be one of the best games of the week, the Arizona Cardinals are traveling to Los Angeles to take on the Rams. Both teams sit at 3-0 and with first place on the line, and with this being very clearly the best division in football, every single game matters a ton.

Los Angeles is hot, fresh off a win over the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. The Matthew Stafford hype is proving to be real, while in Arizona's Kliff Kingsbury has Kyler Murray playing the best football of his life.

Sean McVay has had the Cardinals’ number so far in his career, let’s see if that continues this week. Here’s my three-leg same-game parlay picks for this marquee showdown.

Leg 1: Rams at the half

Rams vs Cardinals betting odds

The Rams have 37 points in the first half of games this year, and they’ve led in every single one of them. When Sean McVay’s team is leading at the half they are an insane 40-0 in those games. If Los Angeles jumps out to an early lead, history tells you they’re likely going to win.

This isn’t meant as a knock on the Cardinals, who have been really excellent so far this year, it’s more so just an appreciation for the dominance of McVay early in games. Arizona has led at the half in two of their three games this season.

Leg 2: Rams Race to 30 points

Rams vs Cardinals betting odds

In both home games this season, the Rams have scored 34 points. The Rams offense is playing at another level right now and I don’t expect that to slow down anytime soon. Also, in the eight games that the Rams have played against Arizona since McVay has taken over, they’ve scored 30 or more points in all but one of them.

The lone game came in Week 17 last year, Los Angeles started John Wolford and they went on to win 18-7. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, Wolford isn’t walking out of the tunnel this week for LA.

Leg 3: Rams -4.5

Rams vs Cardinals betting odds

Remember earlier, when I mentioned the success of Sean McVay against the Cardinals? Well, he’s 8-0 in his career against them and he’s covered the spread in each of those games. Yes, it’s true.

Plus this year, he has by far the best quarterback he’s ever had and I’d argue their offense is playing the best they’ve ever had too. I love Kyler Murray and I love Kliff Kingsbury but sometimes, teams just have your number and this is one of those cases.

If all three legs of the parlay hit, you’re looking at a +205 return on your money. Here are some sportsbooks that offer same-game parlays.
