San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks: Same-Game Parlay Picks

It’s been a disappointing start to the season for the Seattle Seahawks, who are now 1-2 through three games. On the other hand, the 49ers are 2-1 but will have a questionable player at running back for seemingly the rest of the season.

Neither team has been terrific on the defensive end, and while both offenses have scored enough points to win games, both teams have areas to improve in. Nonetheless, when the Seahawks and 49ers play, it’s an instant classic. So let’s put together a classic same-game parlay that should give us instant money!

49ers vs. Seahawks Same-Game Parlay Picks

Seahawks Moneyline (+124)

For the first leg of this SGP, we will add the Seattle Seahawks on the moneyline. The Seahawks have slumped big time and will now have to play on the road in San Francisco. That all sounds brutal, but for the Seahawks, it won’t be. Seattle actually matches up well against the 49ers this year. Let me explain.

The Seahawks will struggle a bit protecting Russell Wilson. That’s a given. If anything, the best part of the 49ers’ defense is their pass rush. But Wilson is going to adapt and move out of the pocket, escaping pressure. When he does that, the 49ers’ coverage will be toast. Wilson has so many big-time playmakers on this team that the offense will be just fine.

The Seahawks have been terrible in coverage down the field, but they’re worrying about Jimmy Garoppolo. Not Tom Brady. The passing game for the 49ers has been very weak, and I’d expect the Seahawks to get a couple more stops than the 49ers. Again, I’m not expecting much out of either of these defenses, but the Seahawks have a better chance of getting stops.

Over 26.5 Points in the First Half (+115)

Neither of these defenses has looked any good to start the season. The 49ers and Seahawks allowed plenty of big plays down the field in coverage and have both struggled to tackle in the open field. The pass rush for both teams is really all these defenses have. By the time the pass rush gets to the quarterback, it’ll be too late.

A 14-13 game at half seems pretty likely in this spot. Both teams have protected the football with Russell Wilson throwing seven touchdowns and no interceptions and Jimmy Garoppolo throwing four touchdowns and just one interception. Getting down the field won’t be a problem, and therefore, I like both teams to get an early start in this game.

The 49ers special teams unit can also score one in a kick return or punt return situation.

Over 52 POINTS (-108)

If the first half goes over, the Seahawks and 49ers would be in good shape to hit over on the total for the entire game of 52. No team has scored more points in the first half than Seattle, who have scored 62 points.

This bodes well for the second leg of the parlay and this wager of the parlay. If the Seahawks start the game with a lot of points, this wager is going to look real good. However, no team has scored fewer points in the second half than the Seahawks, with just 13.

That’s going to change, especially behind a quarterback like Wilson under center. Points should start to roll in every quarter against the 49ers, and I also won’t be surprised when the 49ers stick around and fight back.
