Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers: Same-Game Parlay Picks
The Arizona Cardinals are the last unbeaten team in the NFL. This week, they’ll be taking on the San Francisco 49ers in a divisional matchup. After starting 2-0, the 49ers have lost their last two games and Jimmy Garoppolo’s banged up right now to make matters worse.
So far, the Cardinals have the best offense in football ranking first in both points and yards. It’s been the Kyler Murray show so far in 2021, and we’ll see if that continues here in Week 5. Here’s a same-game parlay for this Cardinals vs 49ers matchup.
Leg 1: Cardinals at the half
In all but one game this year, the Cardinals have led at the half. The one game was against Jacksonville where they had a flukey ending to the first half which featured a 109-yard field goal return for a touchdown.
Last week, against a really good Rams defense, they put up 24 in the first half. San Francisco ranks just 22nd in the league in points against and has just 21 points of offense in the first half over their last three games.
Excluding a 31 point performance against the Lions in Week 1, this has been a poor first-half team while Arizona usually gets off and running rather quickly.

Leg 2: Cardinals race to 25 points
I’m going a little conservative with this parlay but don’t worry I’ll still have you getting fairly good odds by the end. Arizona is averaging 35 points per game and nearly hit 25 in the first half just this past week. While I do believe this team hits 30 against San Fran, 25 is a much less risky play.
A big reason for the success on offense is the year three leap from Kyler Murray. He is completing 76.1 percent of his passes for a 9.5 yards per attempt and 318.3 yards per game. It’s insane the numbers he’s putting up and going against a team with a question at the QB position, should give him even more confidence.
Plus, Arizona’s defense isn’t too shabby. They rank ninth in the NFL overall and they’ve allowed 20 points or fewer in three of their four games this season.
Leg 3: Cardinals -2.5
I chickened out with the 5.5 number so I’m making this almost foolproof. All the Cardinals have to do is win by a field goal to cover this spread. This gives you +160 odds for all three but if you feel confident and want to use the 5.5 number then you’re looking at a +190 return. That’s not a big enough difference for me to risk it with an extra three points.
Besides a one-point win over the Vikings, the Cardinals have been pretty good about covering. San Francisco has covered just once so far this year, and they’re just 4-6 ATS after a loss since the start of the 2020 season.
