NFL Picks and Parlays: Top Moneyline Parlay Pick for Week 5
In Week 5 of the NFL season, there are some good value plays that I like. If you’re new to this gambling thing, that’s okay we’re here to help. Sometimes betting against the spread is a bit intimidating for some so I’m going to try to find you some value on the moneyline this week.
Picking a team like Tampa Bay to win outright gives you terrible odds (-435) but what you could do is parlay some teams together and try to get yourself a safer outcome. Here are three teams that I’m parlaying on the moneyline this week.
New York Jets Moneyline (+135)
The Jets?! Yes, the New York Jets are going to beat the Atlanta Falcons this week. Zach Wilson is coming off the performance of his young NFL life in Week 4 and faces arguably the worst defense in the NFL in Atlanta. Atlanta has allowed 30 or more points in three of their four games this season. Also, the Falcons will be without Russell Gage and Calvin Ridley this week making it just that much harder on Atlanta. Plus, the Jets’ defense is sneaky underrated.
Pittsburgh Steelers Moneyline (-109)
The Steelers have been awful since their Week 1 win over Buffalo. Ben Roethlisberger is a shell of himself at this point but I don’t think he’s going to have to do too much to win this game. Denver will be starting Drew Lock who struggled mightily in relief of Teddy Bridgewater last week. Give me a defensive struggle and a sloppy game with the Steelers coming out on top at home.
Cleveland Browns Moneyline (+115)
I love the Browns this week. Sure, they only scored 14 points last week but they have the number one rushing offense in football with the Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt duo. For the Chargers, they’ve really struggled to contain the run. They’ve allowed the fourth-most rushing yards in the NFL and with that being the focal point of the Browns offense, I think that gives them a narrow edge.
