MNF Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

There are very few bets in football that give you as much bang for your buck as anytime TD scorer bets. A bet on the total or a bet on a team can be over by halftime. But, with anytime TD scorer wagers you're always alive, no matter what is happening in the game.

Week 5's Monday Night Football game features two teams that came into the season with huge expectations in the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have played well to this point. But, the Colts have been disappointing and need a win. Moving to 1-4 at this point in the year would be a huge step back, especially in a year where they are potentially giving their first-round pick to the Eagles, depending on how much he plays.

Baltimore scores 26.2 points per game. We've seen them in a few shootouts this year, notably against Kansas City and Oakland, so we know they are going to have plenty of opportunities to get in the end zone. It's the Colts that I worry about when it comes to scoring, so I'll be focusing more of my picks on the Ravens than I will on the Colts.

So, who should we be betting on when it comes to anytime TD scorers on Monday Night Football? Let's take a look.

Colts vs. Ravens Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. @ +240

Micahel Pittman Jr. is coming into his own this year with the Colts. He's the team's leading receiver and has been the clear choice for Carson Wentz when it comes to his go-to wide receiver. The lone blemish on Pittman's record this year is that he's yet to catch a single touchdown pass. But, that's the type of stat that is meant to come to an end this week.

The Baltimore Ravens are flat-out bad against the pass. They let up over 270 yards per game through the air. Now, a lot of those yards came in the first two weeks. Baltimore has been better of late defensively, especially their secondary. But, at +240, there is really good value on Pittman on Monday Night Football.

Ravens WR Marquise Brown @ +115

Another wide receiver pick for me when it comes to Monday Night Football anytime touchdowns in Week 5. Marquise Brown, like Michael Pittman, has officially cemented himself as the team's go-to receiver. Last week kind of acted as his coming-out party.

Brown has scored in three of the Ravens' four games this season. Not only is he one of the best deep threats in the NFL, but he's become consistent in short and intermediate routes as well. Plus money for a guy that scores that often is too good to pass up.

Ravens RB Latavius Murray @ +130

I wanted to get a third anytime TD scorer pick at long odds. But, there aren't any great plays here at any big prices. So, I'm instead focussing on Latavius Murray. It's pretty clear to me that they trust Murray more than Le'Veon Bell, Devonta Freeman and Ty'Son Williams. It's actually kind of crazy to see how much Ty'Son Williams has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff. It's pretty clear to me that Murray is the most popular pick in the backfield and I like the +130 value for a guy that should see double-digit touches in an offense that likes to run the ball.
