NFL Expert Picks: Washington Football Team vs. Kansas City Chiefs Predictions
The Kansas City Chiefs are in major trouble as they dropped another game, falling to 2-3 after five games. Considering it took until February to see the Chiefs lose their third game last season, this is a pretty big deal.
As for the Washington Football Team, they just continue to bleed points. They allowed the New Orleans Saints to hit them up for 33 as they dropped to 2-3 on the year. Over the last three games, they’ve allowed an average of 35.3 points per game.
Will we see the Chiefs bounce back, finally, or will it be the Washington Football Team that is the latest team to knock around that Kansas City defense?

Washington Football Team vs. Kansas City Chiefs Predictions
Raise your hand if you had the Chiefs in last place after five games. Okay, now everyone put your hand down because you’re lying. It’s been a very weird start for the Chiefs as they currently sit at 2-3.
Their problem is they just allow so many points. With that offense, the defense doesn’t have to be elite but they just can’t be the worst in football. They’ve allowed 163 points already which is 32.6 points per game. They’ve kept opponents under 30 points just once this year and it was the Browns who scored 29.
Offensively, they’re still elite. They’re fifth in points and sixth in yards. Patrick Mahomes continues to do his thing, it’s just a matter of Steve Spagnuolo figuring out his defense.
For Washington, they too have given up a ton of points. They’re not much better allowing 155 points so far which is second-worst in football. Teams have been able to throw all over this defense which is a bad sign if you’re going up against Patrick Mahomes.
On the offensive side of the ball, they’ve been decent, they’re 12th for points and 20th in yards. Right now, the defense is just taking them out of games which is something that makes life hard for your offense that is currently running out a backup quarterback.
Both of these teams stink against the spread, sitting at 1-4. I like the Chiefs this week as a desperate team. They really can’t afford to fall further behind and I think they lay a beating down on the Washington Football Team.
One thing these teams are good at is hitting the over. Both Washington and Kansas City are 4-1 so far this year against the over, so take it at over 55.5 (these teams don’t play defense don’t worry about the big number).
