NFL Week 6 Picks: Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders Predictions, Picks & Odds

What a week it’s been for the Las Vegas Raiders, and not the good kind. Jon Gruden stepped down as Head Coach after some emails using offensive language were released. Now, the once 3-0 Raider find themselves at 3-2 with Rich Bisaccia at the helm.

As for the Broncos, they were 3-0 at one point too but lost back-to-back games to the Ravens and Steelers. Teddy Bridgewater sent out an urgent message to teammates after the loss to Pittsburgh. Is it enough to get them back on track, or is it Vegas who stops their skid?

Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders Predictions

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders are battling for who can big the biggest clown show right now. It’s close but I think I’m giving the edge to Vegas. Their on-field play hasn’t been much better the last few weeks. Over the last two weeks, they’ve combined for 23 points and have had under 260 yards of offense in both games.

Derek Carr was playing at a near MVP pace to start the year before falling off a cliff the last two weeks. He’s averaged under six yards per attempt the last two games and last week against Chicago, his completed air yards per completion was just 4.4.

Going from one anemic offense to the other, the Broncos have been nearly as bad the last two weeks offensively. They combined for just 26 points the last two games and they also allowed Ben Roethlisberger to put up 27 points on them.

The moral of the story, both of these two teams have been brutally bad recently. Denver has been better against the spread, holding a 3-2 record while Las Vegas is just 2-3 ATS this year. As a home favorite, Denver is 1-1 since 2020 and 5-5 overall at home against the spread.

There’s not much indicating a clear advantage, which is why the line is just 3.5 in favor of the Broncos but I’m not sure how you don’t take Denver this week. The Raiders are in shambles in the public eye right now and this very much so feels like a rollover and die kind of game for them. 84 percent of the cash is on Denver -3.5, let’s not try to get cute here.

Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders Pick

Broncos -3 (-106)

NFL Free Picks: Week 6 is here after a wild Week 5. Week 5 saw Cordaralle Patterson and Kyle Pitts dominate the world stage in London. The Packers and Bengals back and forth overtime game with tons of botched field goals. Tom Brady and company continue to dominate. The Bills rolled over the Chiefs and are now AFC title favorites. The Patriots, Eagles, and Chargers all come out on top with 4th quarter comebacks. Kyler Murray and the Cardinals remain the lone unbeaten team and much, much more. This week, we'll see an NFC clash between the Buccaneers and Eagles on Thursday Night Football -- that one should be a ton of fun. A rivalry as old as time as the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears square off. The Arizona Cardinals put their undefeated record on the line against the Cleveland Browns, and on Monday Night Football, the Buffalo Bills will look to stay red-hot facing the Tennessee Titans.
