The Dallas Cowboys head to New England to take on the Patriots in a Week 6 battle. NFL handicapper Jason Radowitz gives his NFL picks and predictions here.

NFL Week 6 Picks: New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys Predictions, Picks & Odds

The Dallas Cowboys are currently the clear favorites in the NFC East. With a 4-1 start to the season and a healthy Dak Prescott, the offense has been sensational, and the defense has stepped up in more ways than anyone could’ve imagined to start the season.

On the other hand, the New England Patriots looked abysmal to start last week’s game against the Texans but found a way to win by three behind a game-winning Nick Folk field goal. Davis Mills of the Texans dotted up the secondary of the Patriots. How will the Patriots respond against a much better offense in the Dallas Cowboys?

New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction

The week before last week, the Patriots gave Tom Brady and the Buccaneers a battle. Fast forward to last week, and the Patriots struggled to stop rookie quarterback Davis Mills, who threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns.

This season, the Patriots are relying on rookie quarterback Mac Jones, and he’s been up and down all year. Jones has thrown for five touchdowns but also has five interceptions on the year. Meanwhile, the run game hasn’t helped Jones at all, gaining just 80 yards per game, thanks to an offensive line that has not looked great blocking upfront in either the pass protection or run block.

On the other hand, the Cowboys are dominating with their offensive line, gaining 172.8 yards per game on the ground. The Cowboys are actually averaging over 450 yards per game this season, with so much playmaking around a star quarterback in Dak Prescott.

Right now, Kyler Murray and Josh Allen lead the talk in the MVP race. However, Prescott is right there as well, with 13 touchdowns and just three interceptions on the year. He’s led this Cowboys team to four victories already this season and looks extremely comfortable behind an excellent offensive line.

The Cowboys defense hasn’t been all that special, but behind Trevon Diggs, the defense is getting the job done. He’s had at least one interception in the last five games for the Cowboys and just seems to find the ball wherever it’s thrown. Sometimes he’ll be beaten in coverage and still find a way to make a play on a ball.

That has rubbed off on this defense, and while they’re allowing 407 yards per game and 327.6 yards per game in the air, the defense is forcing takeaways while Prescott takes care of the ball.

That’s a recipe for success. On the road, against Mac Jones and the Patriots, I’m willing to bet the Cowboys up to a touchdown favorite. They’re for real on the offensive end and have done enough on the defensive end to win games.

New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys Pick

NFL Free Picks: Week 6 is here after a wild Week 5. Week 5 saw Cordaralle Patterson and Kyle Pitts dominate the world stage in London. The Packers and Bengals back and forth overtime game with tons of botched field goals. Tom Brady and company continue to dominate. The Bills rolled over the Chiefs and are now AFC title favorites. The Patriots, Eagles, and Chargers all come out on top with 4th quarter comebacks. Kyler Murray and the Cardinals remain the lone unbeaten team and much, much more. This week, we'll see an NFC clash between the Buccaneers and Eagles on Thursday Night Football -- that one should be a ton of fun. A rivalry as old as time as the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears square off.
