Cleveland Browns vs. Arizona Cardinals Same-Game Parlay Picks
After a devastating loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Cleveland Browns head back home to take on the undefeated Arizona Cardinals. Cleveland was up late in the fourth quarter on Los Angeles but Justin Herbert and company went off to complete the 47-42 comeback win.
For the Cards, they beat the San Francisco 49ers to remain undefeated but it was by no means a decisive win. The offense scored just 17 points, at home, and won a 17-10 low-scoring affair. This week, it’ll be one of their biggest tests of the year going up against the Browns.
For Sunday’s game, I have a modest four-leg same-game parlay for you guys with a +160 return. Here’s how it plays out.
Browns vs Cardinals Week 6 Betting Odds
Leg 1: Baker Mayfield Over 199.5 passing yards
It hasn’t been the best of starts for Baker Mayfield this year as he has just four passing touchdowns through the first five games of the year. It’s the Cleveland run game that has helped them on offensively while Baker has been more of a game manager.
Still, his yards per game is well up over 200 on average this year coming in at 248. In four of the five games this year, Mayfield has cleared the 200 yards passing mark. The only time he didn’t was on the road in Minnesota.
In Mayfield’s last 14 games dating back to last year including the playoffs, he has gone over 200 passing yards 12 times (85.7 percent). The pass defense for Arizona did a good job against Trey Lance last week but they allowed their previous three opponents to go over 200 yards passing.
Leg 2: Kyler Murray Over 229.5 passing yards
Kyler Murray has had no problem clearing this number this year, he’s done it in all five games. Even in his worst game of the season, just last week against San Francisco, he still managed to throw for 239 yards. This defense just gave up nearly 400 to Justin Herbert last week.
Granted, the Browns defense isn’t nearly as bad as what they showed in the second half of the Chargers game but still, Murray has gone over 230 yards now in eight straight (excluding Week 17 where he had to leave the game in 2020).
Leg 3: Browns Over 1.5 Team Touchdowns
Will the Browns score 14 points? They’ve done so in every game this year and the last time they didn’t hit that number was in Week 10 of last year so they’ve done it now 14 games in a row. Don’t let the recent defensive performance against San Francisco scare you off.
That was more on the San Francisco 49ers' inabilities than it was the Cardinals' defense. They’re sixth overall in points allowed, which is great, but I just don’t see them holding Cleveland to less than two touchdowns.
Leg 4: Over 49.5 Points Total
The Cardinals are fourth in the NFL in scoring offense while the Browns are sixth. I could probably leave the argument there but I’ll give you some more reasoning to entice you. Only once this year has the Cardinals total come in at under 50 in their game.
As for Cleveland, they’ve hit that number in three of their five games this season. Expect a 30-24 kind of game which should comfortably put you into the 50’s in points.
