NFL Expert Picks: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction
One of the best games in Week 6 in the NFL comes to us from Baltimore as the Chargers take on the Ravens. Both teams come into the game at 4-1 and feature two of the best offenses in football. Lamar Jackson is back to looking like his MVP self, and Justin Herbert has officially arrived as one of the best QBs in the NFL.
My Chargers vs. Ravens prediction takes a look at what we can expect come Sunday afternoon. One thing I know we’re going to get is points and good QB play from two of the very best in the world. Which team will get enough stops to improve to 5-1? Here are my Chargers vs. Ravens predictions.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Baltimore Ravens Predictions
Let’s start with a look at the Los Angeles Chargers this season. For my money, they have been the most impressive team in the NFL this season. Even more impressive than the unbeaten Cardinals so far.
Justin Herbert showed immense talent last season as a rookie. Not only does he have insane arm strength and accuracy, but his decision making has been awesome. He makes the big plays without turning the ball over, but he also knows when to take what the defense is giving him.
But, despite his strong play last season, the Chargers were just okay. Now, in Herbert’s second season, the team is a bonafide Super Bowl contender. A lot of that has to do with Herbert. But a good portion also has to do with their new head coach, defense, offensive line and playmakers.
The Chargers are a complete team. They have some shortcomings, but so does every single one of the 32 squads in the NFL.
The stretch they’re currently on has, in my opinion, taken then from good young team to real contender. In the last four weeks, the Chargers have beaten the defending AFC champion Chiefs, in KC, the unbeaten Raiders and the one-loss Browns. Their lone loss in that span came by three to the Cowboys, who look like they’re making their own Super Bowl run this year.
The Charges are the real deal, but it looks like their opponent on Sunday is as well.
Chargers vs. Ravens odds ahead of Sunday's game
The Ravens will go as far as Lamar Jackson takes them. They have talent around him, but he is the most dynamic playmaker in football right now, and maybe ever. When Lamar Jackson is slinging it, like he was against the Colts on Monday Night Football, I truly believe he’s the best player in the NFL. The issue has been his consistency.
Jackson is the team’s leading rusher with 341 yards on the season. He has also thrown for an insane 372 yards per game so far through five games. Hollywood Brown is emerging as the deep threat the Ravens drafted in the first round and Mark Andrews is making a bid for one of the top tight ends in the league.
Here is where I think the difference is between these two teams. The Chargers have one of the best pass defenses in the NFL. They hold opposing QBs to 214.2 yards per game and boast an air-tight secondary.
On the other side, the Ravens have been one of the worst teams in the NFL against the pass. Carson Wentz, who is in the middle of a mediocre season for the Colts, tore this secondary apart for over 400 yards on Monday Night Football. If I were to bet on the Ravens, that would worry me.
This Chargers vs. Ravens prediction really comes down to which team is getting points. Despite the fact that I think this game will be relatively close, if you’re going to give me points on the Chargers, who have the better defense, I’m going to take it.
You can get the Chargers +2.5 at +100, which is a great price. But, I’m going to pay to get the full field goal.

Week 6 is here after a wild Week 5. Week 5 saw Cordaralle Patterson and Kyle Pitts dominate the world stage in London. The Packers and Bengals back and forth overtime game with tons of botched field goals. Tom Brady and company continue to dominate. The Bills rolled over the Chiefs and are now AFC title favorites. Kyler Murray and the Cardinals remain the lone unbeaten team and much, much more. This week, we get a rivalry as old as time as the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears square off. The Arizona Cardinals put their undefeated record on the line against the Cleveland Browns, and on Monday Night Football, the Buffalo Bills will look to stay red-hot facing the Tennessee Titans.
