NFL Week 6 Picks: Top Player Props for Sunday Afternoon Games

In Week 6 of the NFL season, you have wall-to-wall football on Sunday. There’s the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins to open the day bright and early in London. There’s some intriguing 1:00 pm games, for instance, the Los Angeles Chargers vs Baltimore Ravens match up and at 4:00 pm I’ll be locked into Cleveland vs Arizona.

Today what we’ll do is try to get you some top player prop bets to look at. The catch, no primetime games instead we will be looking at the afternoon games this week. I have three props for you to try your luck with on Sunday.

Matthew Stafford over 283.5 passing yards (-115)

We’ll start with the Los Angeles Rams against the New York Giants. New York is crippled with injuries heading into this game and may be forced to start Mike Glennon at quarterback. If that’s the case, don’t expect much offense from the Giants.

With the Rams’ potent offense being on the field more, expect Matthew Stafford to rack up the yardage. His number right now is set at 283.5, a number that he’s cleared three times this season. He’s averaging 317.4 yards per game and the Giants defense has let for of their five opponents go for over 400 yards of offense against them. This one can get ugly, and get ugly quick

Ja’Marr Chase over 74.5 receiving yards (-115)

For the last two weeks, Ja’Marr Chase has been a target hog for Cincinnati. He has 19 in his last two games for 77 and 159 yards to go with that. Now, I’m not sure if we see another 150+ yard receiving performance this week but going against the Lions’ defense I think there’s a good chance he clears his 74.5 number.

In fact, the only time they didn’t give up 100 yards receiving to a WR this year was against the Ravens but they let TE Mark Andrews go for over 100. Tee Higgins is expected back, so hopefully, he doesn’t steal away too many targets but I’m comfortable right around that 75-yard mark.

Noah Fant Under 4.5 receptions (-145)

Noah Fant is a nice target in the receiving game for Teddy Bridgewater but he’s not five catches nice. He’s cleared the 4.5 number twice this year but in this match-up against Vegas, I don’t see him having that kind of production. In four career games against Vegas, he has never had more than four catches in a game and was held with three or less in three of those games.

The Vegas defense has been pretty solid this year allowing the third-fewest passing yards and fifth-fewest passing touchdowns. Fant’s per game average comes just a tad under at 4.2 on the season. All signs point to him hitting the under this week with his matchup.
