Las Vegas Raiders vs Denver Broncos: Same-Game Parlay Picks
The Las Vegas Raiders had plenty of drama this week with head coach Jon Gruden resigning due to a bunch of emails released that were controversial. Despite all of that, the Raiders will still have to play the Denver Broncos this week, on the road, with interim head coach, Rich Biasaccia.
On the other hand, the Broncos started the season 3-0 but have since lost their last two against AFC North opponents in the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. With just 20.4 points per game, can the Broncos do enough offensively to earn their fourth win of the season?
Here’s an exciting Same-Game Parlay to consider for the Raiders vs Broncos game.
Raiders vs Broncos Same-Game Parlay Picks
The Broncos haven’t been great in pass coverage this season, allowing 222.8 yards per game in the air. However, the rush defense has been brilliant and that should at least force the Raiders into third and longs in this game.
Meanwhile, the Broncos offense has been solid behind starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The Broncos have only scored an average of 20.4 points but they’ve protected the football. Now going up against the Raiders defense that has really struggled against the run this season, the Broncos will play their brand of football, and move the ball up the field slowly and effectively to tire out this Raiders defense.
It’s hard to know what to expect out of the Raiders in this one, as well. Game planning might be a bit different than what we’ve seen this season. Still, I like the Broncos to find a way.
Melvin Gordon Over 47.5 Rushing Yards -114
The Raiders have been awful against the run this year. At home, I’m expecting the Broncos to move down the field in a methodical way. On the season, Gordon has 60 attempts for just 282 yards with two touchdowns. That’s an average of 4.7 yards per carry.
I’m aware that he’s got an injured hip but by gametime, Gordon will be good to go. In the last two losses he’s received just nine carries in each with the Broncos trailing for most of these games.
If the Broncos are going to win this game, Gordon should get double digits in carries and should also break one for a long play against this Raiders rushing defense that, while looks good in the box score, isn’t good at all.
Over 44.5 (-122)
Broncos games seem to always go under while Raiders games seem to always go over. At the end of the day, the Broncos have struggled in coverage with their secondary. That will give Derek Carr a chance to carve up the Broncos secondary all game long.
This, especially if the Raiders are trailing in this game early, as I’m also expecting. The Broncos really don’t get much pressure on the quarterback and the passing game is exactly what the Raiders are good at.
On the other hand, the Broncos are going to score more points than we’re used to seeing. It might take a bit longer, but that’s okay. The Raiders have the potential to score on big plays in this game to help reach the over.
