Monday Night Football player prop picks for New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks. Handicapper John Hyslop gives us his favorite prop pick of the night.

MNF Player Prop Picks: The Best Bet For Saints vs. Seahawks

We're getting the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks on ESPN's Monday Night Football at 8:15 pm ET tonight. Originally I was planning on sitting this one out and just draining some NBA player props but then I realized something. We get less than 20 Monday Night Football games per year. The idea of sitting one out is a ridiculously bad one. Even if the game is going to be played in a monsoon like last night's game. You have to bet it. Find an angle and get down people. That's all we have to do.

Monday Night Football Player Prop Pick

Gerald Everett over 17.5 receiving yards (-113)

Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing.

Gerald Everett is being offered everywhere tonight but the best number is at FanDuel. At 17.5 -113, this one is priced to move. If you're are BetMGM or DraftKings player, you get 18.5 at -115 so it's playable there. It's all deadly when you think about it.

It's always tough backing a guy that is dependent on Geno Smith getting him the ball. Especially in a rainstorm. But we can take comfort in the fact that last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Everett's ADOT is a little over 3 yards. He's literally right there and when he catches it, one guy is not bringing him down as you saw last week against Pittsburgh. He should be in the fold tonight given the conditions and opponent.

Obviously, we will need the Seahawks to throw the ball but their hand might be forced. They will not be able to run on New Orleans. No team in the NFL holds their opponents to fewer yards per rush than the Saints. At some point we'll see some of those dink and dunk type passes and by my calculations, we'll only need Everett to catch two of them to get home. Although he could easily so it in one catch like he did last week.
