Baltimore Ravens vs. Minnesota Vikings Same-Game Parlay Picks: Lighting Up the Scoreboard
The Baltimore Ravens were absolutely embarrassed two weeks ago with a 41-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at home. Still, the Ravens are 5-2 and will now welcome a 3-4 Minnesota Vikings team to M&T Bank Stadium after a bye week for a 1:00 pm ET Sunday game.
The Vikings have been inconsistent this year, but despite losing more games than winning, they’ve scored more points than allowed this season.
The offense for the Vikings has been a bit quieter than in recent years. However, with Dalvin Cook back at running back for Minnesota, there’s optimism that the offense will start to figure things out. Will that be the case moving forward for the Vikings? Here’s an interesting Same-Game Parlay to consider between the Vikings and Ravens.
Ravens vs. Vikings Same-Game Parlay Picks
Ravens Moneyline (-255)
This game might be a bit closer than some would like holding a Ravens ticket, but, at home, coming off a bye week, the Ravens should be well-rested and ready to go. Let’s also not forget that the Vikings had to play a Sunday Night game and struggled to do much offensively against the Cowboys last week, to begin with.
The Vikings have allowed 120.9 yards per game on the ground this season defensively, and that’s not an area that any team wants to be bad in when going up against the Ravens. The Ravens offense should have no problem gaining yards in the run game, and while the Vikings have looked solid in the passing game, Lamar Jackson has been getting better with decision-making under center this season. I like the Ravens to come out on top in this one.
Over 49.5 (-114)
I just spoke about how the Ravens offense should explode offensively against the Vikings in the run game. The Vikings haven’t been able to get stops in the run game consistently and also don’t tackle all that well, missing plenty of tackles this season.
On the other hand, the Ravens ultimately have the worst defense between the two. Baltimore has allowed 312.3 yards passing per game this season. While Kirk Cousins isn’t getting the best pass protection this season, he has plenty of reliable receivers that can make plays down the field, including Justin Jefferson. So I like both teams to have their way offensively in this game and figure this game will be a shootout between the two with the Ravens holding off the Vikings in the fourth quarter.
Lamar Jackson Over 55.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
The Vikings pass rush is really good. The secondary is also very solid for the Vikings. Therefore, the Ravens are going to have to win this game with their legs. Lamar Jackson has been more of a pocket passer this year than in other years past, but the reality is, he’s going to have to step up in the pocket and run away from the pass rush while the secondary does their thing against his receivers.
With that said, I like Jackson to scramble plenty in this game, and he’ll still have some design runs in RPO’s and whatnot. So take Jackson over 55.5 rushing yards in the final leg of your Same-Game Parlay.
