Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos Same-Game Parlay Picks: Trust Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys are 6-1 on the season and should have the NFC East all but locked up this season. It’s a bit premature, but as long as Dak Prescott stays healthy, the Cowboys are easily the best team in the NFC East. At this moment, Prescott is still on the injury list, and it’s still unclear if he’ll play against the Cowboys as they welcome the Broncos to AT&T stadium. The Broncos will look to get back to .500 after trading away linebacker and all-star veteran Von Miller for draft picks. Does this mean that the Broncos are conceding and looking to rebuild again? Here is a simple Same-Game Parlay reflecting the Broncos giving up on the season.

Cowboys vs. Broncos Same-Game Parlay Picks

Cowboys -9.5 (-106)

Under Dak Prescott, the Cowboys have been a fantastic offense all year long. He’s still on the injury report, but reporters continue to state that there’s optimism that Prescott plays in this game. Dallas is averaging 32.1 points per game, and that number decreased due to Cooper Rush getting the start last week. Against an average Broncos defense, the Cowboys should be able to blow the Broncos out. Defensively, the Cowboys continue to create takeaways and convert on clutch interceptions. I like the Cowboys big in this one.

Cowboys Over 29.5 Team Total (-118)

The Broncos do well on special teams, but the defense is just plain average. They’ve only allowed 341.4 yards per game, but Denver is going to have to go up against a Cowboys offense that has averaged 465 yards per game.

I know the Broncos have only allowed 17.1 points per game and that they also have four wins on the year. But let’s not forget that those wins came against the Jets, Jaguars, Giants, and Football Team. These aren’t impressive wins, and that’s how some of their defensive numbers are inflated. On the other hand, this Cowboys offense should explode for five touchdowns, at least against Denver.

Cowboys -5.5 First Half (-115)

The Cowboys are going to be too much to handle offensively. With Prescott under center, this offense will be juiced and ready to go. Meanwhile, the Broncos are averaging less than 20 points per game. Broncos quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, doesn’t make many mistakes, but the Cowboys are always baiting teams to get interceptions and takeaways. Look for the Cowboys to come out big in the first half and win by at least one score. It’s hard to cover spreads if you’re not even leading at halftime. Also, even if backup quarterback Cooper Rush has to play, I like the Cowboys to win. However, if you’re looking to bet on this game, I would wait for confirmation on Prescott playing as Rush under center would create heavy line movement like Aaron Rodgers and the Packers this week.
