Jets vs. Colts Same Game Parlay picks for Week 9's Thursday Night Football matchup between the two teams. Matt O'Leary brings you his Same Game Parlay pick

New York Jets vs Indianapolis Colts TNF Same-Game Parlay: The Mike White Show?

Raise your hand if you had Mike White leading the NFL in passing yards in Week 8? Okay, unless you’re that guy who had the $1,000 wager, put your hand down immediately. The New York Jets and Mike White shocked the Bengals with an upset win at home last week. Now, they travel to Indianapolis for Thursday Night Football.

The Colts are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Tennessee Titans in overtime last week after two costly turnovers from quarterback, Carson Wentz. Are the Colts able to bounce back tonight on a short week?

Well, for this Thursday night matchup between the Jets and the Colts I have you covered with a +450 same-game parlay.

Colts vs Jets Odds

Same Game Parlay Leg 1: Mike White over 199.5 passing yards

Last week, White went over 400 passing yards. With an average depth of target of just over four yards, it was a bit of a weird day for him as he was efficient but he wasn’t really able to push the ball down the field again. The biggest question on everyone’s mind is whether or not we will see a repeat performance against the Colts. While I don’t see him going over 400 again this week, I think he can absolutely hit 200.

In relief of Zach Wilson against New England, he eclipsed 200 yards in a little more than a half of football. On average, Indianapolis is allowing 243.6 yards per game which comes in at 15th in the NFL.

Same Game Parlay Leg 2: Michael Carter over 34.5 rushing yards

Over the past few weeks, Michael Carter has established himself as the lead back for the Jets. He’s cleared 34.5 rushing yards four weeks in a row and last week had his best day as a pro with 77 yards on the ground and another 95 in the receiving game. Over the last three games, Indianapolis has averaged 109.3 yards per game allowed on the ground. With Carter taking over the lead back role, 55.6 percent of the carries last week, he should be able to get upwards of this number.

Same Game Parlay Leg 3: Jonathan Taylor over 69.5 rushing yards

The second-year pro out of Wisconsin is having himself a steady start to the 2021 season. He’s averaging 81.1 yards per game this year on the ground and he’s gone over 69.5 yards three games in a row. For the Jets defensively, they’ve allowed opponents to rush for 115.1 yards per game this season. With their pass rush being much more effective, I anticipate Indianapolis to counter with a ground attack featuring Taylor.

Same Game Parlay Leg 4: Jets +10.5

How is a 3-5 team favored by double digits over anyone? Look, I’m not saying the Jets win the game outright here but this should absolutely be a one-score game. As a home favorite, the Colts are just 1-1 against the spread on the season. With the turnovers returning to Carson Wentz’s game, a costly two picks last week, and three lost fumbles on the year, his mistake-laced game will likely keep the Jets hanging around. New York ranks 11th in quarterback hits on the season so if they’re getting to Wentz, they should be able to get him to make that costly error.
