A pair of teams will meet up Sunday morning in Jacksonville who has had exact opposite starts to their season. The Buffalo Bills coming off a 2020 season they saw the end in the AFC Championship game, will come into this game in first place in the AFC East, playing to the tune of a 5-2 record this season. The Jaguars, on the flip side, have had struggles on and off the field this season. The Jags coming into the season, were one of the more fascinating teams. They brought in Urban Meyer as their head coach, a former legend as a college football coach with the Florida Gators, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Jags also drafted former Clemson standout, Trevor Lawrence, with the first overall pick in the draft. The pair has not successfully started their campaign in Jacksonville, starting the season with a 1-6 record.
The Bills have been what we all expected this season, plus some. The surprise of this Buffalo team perhaps has been their defense which has performed solidly over the start of the season. The Bills offense has always been produced, and that was a given coming into the season as Josh Allen continues to get better and better week in and week out. According to many sportsbooks, Allen, who is currently the favorite to win MVP, will be tasked with beating this Jaguar defense this week, who now ranks 29th in the NFL in scoring defense, allowing 29 points per game.
The Bills offense, on the flip side, ranks first in the NFL in scoring offense as the Bills score 32.7 points per game which is suitable for tops in the league. The most surprising thing about this Bills team is the fact that their defense ranks number one in the NFL in scoring defense, allowing opponents just 15.6, which ranks almost two points above anyone else in the NFL. The Jags, on the other side of things, rank as one of the lowest-scoring offenses in the NFL, scoring just 17.6 points per game.

I just listed all facts that would support the Buffalo Bills here; however, I see some regression from this Bills defense this week and the rest of their season as I believe their numbers are inflated due to the offenses they have played against this season. The play I like in this football game will focus on the Jaguars on their Team Total over at 16.5, which is currently sitting at (-108).
The Jags offense, I believe, will have many chances in this game as they will be playing from behind and often, and the Bills will score quickly and often, forcing the hand of the Jags to play with tempo and in need of points. The Jags as a team does average over this number at 16.5 on the season. I see this as a look-over game for the Bills as a road game facing an opponent they are much better than. I have faith in Trevor Lawrence and this offense to get a couple of touchdowns and a field goal in this game, and I believe they will clear this number for us this Sunday.
