NFL Picks and Parlays: Top Week 9 Parlay Picks for Early Sunday Games

Last week's parlay was a 5-legger that we didn't connect on. We had Darrell Henderson and Jonathan Taylor both to score and those hit but the other three we weren't as fortunate. Two came extremely close but we still missed. Stefon Diggs' longest reception was just 19 yards and we needed 26 or more. Chase Claypool finished with 45 receiving yards and we needed 51 or more. Lastly, the Bengals were downright pitiful losing to the Jets and they had no chance for a cover. I'm glad it didn't come down to losing just one leg because those are the heartbreakers you don't forget.

The good news is we're back for Week 9, and some great spots for plays to sift through. Let's try to cash another big one here! We're going for another 5-Leg parlay this time with mostly player props. It should come in around +1600 if you grab the best prices. Best of luck if you tail!

Ezekiel Elliott to Score Anytime (-155)

A place we have gone time and time again for parlay value is the anytime touchdown market for lead running backs in our parlays. Zeke is set up to have a big week. He's had at least 20 or more touches in five straight weeks and 15 targets over the last two. He gets to face the Broncos defense that has allowed 124 rushing yards per game to running backs over the past four weeks. Every touchdown scored by Zeke has been at home so far this season. Not like that matters, but what does matter is Dak Prescott will be back under center and the Cowboys will have no issues scoring.

Marquise Brown Longest Reception Over 24.5 Yards (-110)

Hollywood Brown has produced at least one explosive reception (20 or more yards) in every game so far in 2021. We are finally in the midst of his breakout. Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman has been getting Lamar Jackson to attack split-safety coverage. Lift the top of the secondary and that's exactly what Brown will do again in Week 9 against the Vikings defense. Throws in which the Ravens can get Brown isolated on safety they have taken shots at all year long. The Vikings have allowed the eighth-most yards per catch so far. Brown has topped this number in 6 out of 7 games. Let's make it 7 out of 8!

Jordan Akins Over 20.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

Just as many will love Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki this week because of how bad the Texans are defending against tight ends, I will zag because there are very few teams worse than Houston in this category and the Dolphins are one of them. Tyrod Taylor is expected to be back this week. He will provide a significant boost to the Texans offense. Miami has allowed the second-most yards to opposing tight ends so far in 2021. They have even allowed the second-most passing yards per game overall. Akins is now the starter with Pharoah Brown out. He played 39 snaps last week, finishing with 5 catches on 5 targets for 53 yards.

Jarvis Landry Over 55.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

The Bengals have allowed the eighth-most yards to wide receivers so far in 2021. Jarvis Landry received a season-high 10 targets last week and is in for an increased role with Odell Beckham Jr. now released. Landry handled a massive 27% target share, which was nearly 8 per game during the nine weeks last season OBJ didn't play in. Landry has battled with injuries all season but a clean bill of health coming into Week 9 and let's roll with JUICE!

Buffalo Bills -9 (-200)

This feels like a throw-in by me here just being greedy trying to increase the payout of our parlay. Maybe it is but I just don't see a way this Jaguars team can keep up with the Bills whatsoever. The Bills should easily win this by double digits. The Jaguars have been torched at home by the Titans and Cardinals already and are coming off a 31-7 beatdown at the hands of the Seahawks and Geno Smith. I was going to opt for a Stefon Diggs touchdown here but instead, I think this is the smarter pick for our parlay. Let's roll!
