Pittsburgh Steelers vs Chicago Bears MNF Same-Game Parlay: Will Pittsburgh Score Enough?

This one could be ugly, folks. On Monday Night Football this week you have the Chicago Bears traveling to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. Neither of these teams like to score points, the Bears rank 31st and the Steelers 26th in terms of points per game but someone has to score in this one right?

The issue is that Pittsburgh doesn’t allow very many points just 20.3 per game but they also don’t score a whole lot. With the spread being up around 6 or 6.5 points depending on where you look will they score enough to cover?

Today, I have you covered with a three-leg parlay that can give you a +255 return on your money.

Bears vs Steelers Odds

Leg 1: Steelers at the half

There’s no point spread that needs to be covered here, all Pittsburgh has to do is lead at the half. Neither of these teams like to score, especially in the first half as they are both bottom seven in first-half points but as for Chicago, they have led in the half four times. In games Pittsburgh has won over this three-game win streak, they have yet to be trailing at the half. The moral of the story, Pittsburgh good defense > Pittsburgh bad offense.

Leg 2: Chicago over 9.5 points

It’s bad when predicting a team to get to 10 points makes you sweat but that’s the reality of the Bears offense. Twice this year already they finished under this mark and they are facing one of the better defenses in football this week. Although, to his credit, Justin Fields outside of the Tampa Bay clunker has looked significantly better the last few times out. All he has to do is get in the endzone once and add a field goal drive and we’re clear. Heck maybe not, a defensive or special teams score could get us over the mark here also.

Leg 3: Steelers -6.5

Neither of these teams are particularly good against the spread, the Bears are 3-5 and the Steelers are 3-4 but I trust Pittsburgh more. When facing a big number this year, the Bears are 0-4 against the spread as 6-point underdogs or more. I can’t tell you how many times I backed Chicago against a big number only for them to get their doors blown off. Not today!
