Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks Prediction: Under the Radar Pick

All of the headlines for this game will be on the return of Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers coming back from COVID protocol but we like to fly a little under the radar. We have a pick with nice odds at -115 on DraftKings. I won't make you wait any longer, here’s what we’ve got.

No one is questioning who the lead back in Green Bay is. Aaron Jones is still the head honcho for the Pack but we would be fools to not notice that Dillon is slowly gaining steam in volume/production. AJ Dillon has eight or more rushing attempts in five of his last six games.

Dillon is averaging 10.16 rushes per game in his last six games as well. He now finds a Seattle defense allowing 26 rushing attempts per game! This number is second-most in the NFL trailing only the Chargers. Now what you’re about to hear may push you over the hedge and make you realize this is a must bet.

Aaron Jones has taken 75 handoffs in the last 6 weeks to AJ Dillon's 61. This means that Dillon is running the ball 44.8% of the time compared to Aaron Jones' 55.2%. With Seattle allowing 26 rush attempts per game to RB’s that would project Dillon over 12 handoffs in this contest. We don’t want to be selfish so we’ll settle for nine but every sign in this game, including the -3 game spread in favor of Green Bay, points to this over.

Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks Pick

  • AJ Dillon OVER 8.5 rushing attempts (-115)
