Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers MNF Same-Game Parlay: Rams Stay Hot

The Los Angeles Rams made yet another big splash by signing Odell Beckham Jr. They’re also coming off just their second loss of the season and they head to San Francisco who have gone off the rails losing five out of their last six games.

Between these two NFC West teams, who comes out on top? Well, I have a three-leg same-game parlay for this Monday Night Football matchup that could yield a +210 return if it hits.

Leg 1: Rams First Half

The Rams are one of the best first-half teams in football averaging nearly 14 points in the first half. When looking at San Francisco, they rank just 22nd with 10 points on average in the first half. Just last week they had seven first-half points and over the last three games, they’re averaging 9.3 points per half.

Just once in the last five games have the 49ers put up double digits in the first half. The expectation is for the Rams to get on them early and get out to an early lead. That shouldn’t be an issue with the 49ers’ defense currently allowing the seventh-most points in the NFL.

Leg 2: Rams Race to 25 Points

To go off of the 49ers’ poor defensive play of late, I like the Rams to clear 25 and to do it first obviously. In five of their eight games, the 49ers have allowed opponents to go over the 25 point mark.

For the Rams, they go over 25 points in their sleep. Only twice have they not cleared the number and that was in both of their losses this season. They currently rank fifth in the league in scoring and fourth in yards. This offense shouldn’t have too many issues in this NFC West divisional matchup.

Leg 3: Rams -3.5

Despite their 7-2 record, the Rams are just 4-5 against the spread with a -0.1 ATS +/-. Don’t let that scare you off! San Francisco is just 2-6 ATS, they haven’t won a game at home all season and they have a -5.3 ATS +/-.

Not only are they 0-4 at home, but they have also failed to cover once at home all year. Going back to last season, they’re just 2-8 at home against the spread. The Rams stay right and steamroll the 49ers who are on their last leg as is.
