Week 10 provides us with what should be a great Monday night football game between the 49ers and Rams. Both sides were among preseason favorites to compete with the Buccaneers this season for the NFC title. Halfway through the season, the Rams are 7-2 and the 49ers have struggled once again with injuries and sit at 3-5. If the 49ers drop this game their playoff hopes are pretty much toast in 2021. Both teams are coming off disappointing losses in games they were favored in. The Rams own the fourth-best offense so far in the NFL meanwhile the 49ers strength has been its defense, ranking eighth overall to this point.

The Rams will be adjusting to a new wide receiver group with one of their team captains Robert Woods now out for the season after a torn ACL in practice this week. On the same day Woods tore his ACL the Rams signed Odell Beckham Jr. OBJ is set to make his debut Monday night. His role may not be large with nearly 72 hours under his belt to learn the playbook so the Rams high-flying passing game may be grounded a bit Monday night. With a modest total of 49 set for this one, I think we can expect some points and a close matchup here. With the Rams having the 4th best passing offense and the 49ers possessing the 4th best pass defense this one makes for an interesting one to cap.

I'm looking for a strong Monday night of anytime touchdown picks and trying to continue to build our profit this season. Best of luck if you tail!

George Kittle (+210)

Kittle has a decent matchup up against the Rams Monday night. The Rams have allowed the 7th most yards to opposing tight ends and the second-most receptions entering Week 10. After missing three games with a calf injury, Kittle made a successful return in Week 9 against the Cardinals. He came back with a near-optimal workload (41 snaps, 73 percent), led the 49ers in receiving yards (101), tied for the team lead in catches (6), and tied for second in targets (8). He even found the end zone.

Van Jefferson (+250)

This one is kind of a no-brainer to be on as I'm sure we'll see his name everywhere. With Robert Woods going down and Odell Beckham just joining the team, Jefferson will step into an even bigger role than he already had. He caught at least three passes in each of the past four games for a total of 13 receptions, 191 yards, and a touchdown. Jefferson also played 75 of 78 offensive snaps. Those numbers are before the Woods injury. So the snaps were already there but now with Woods out the targets for at least this week make sense to be filled up by Jefferson and Higbee, who we will discuss next.

Tyler Higbee (+235)

Robert Woods' absence also opens the door for Higbee to finish the season as an elite TE1. He has amassed 21 targets over the last three games and was tied with Woods for the fourth-most targets this season (7) inside the 10-yard line already. Higbee is tied for the third-most red-zone targets in the NFL right now. Six of those targets have been in the end zone. His expected touchdowns are nearly 4 on the season given the opportunities but he has only scored twice. Even with the elite 49ers linebackers that will change Monday night.
