MNF Player Prop Picks: Best Bets for Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers

It's Monday night and we have Monday Night Football on our televisions tonight. It's going to be beautiful. Since there's a NFL game on television, we should obviously bet it. Not to be a downer, but we're not far from there not being a football game on Monday nights. This isn't forever people, we need to act now. Lucky for us, the books are in that weird place where they can't possibly get everything right. There's just too much going on and too many moving parts. We should jump on them.

George Kittle 80+ receiving yards (+198)

Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing.

We're going to FanDuel because I'm a huge fan of the escalator props. They're just fun. DraftKings and BetMGM both have their versions but they don't hit quite like the FanDuel jumpoffs. You have so many different options that it makes it hard to nail one down. I'm addicted.

George Kittle is a man amongst boys out there people. The guy missed four weeks in a row then came back last week and hung a 6-101-1 line on the Arizona Cardinals. That's grown man stuff. The best part is, I think he can have similar success this week.

First off, I think Kittle hates the Rams. It all started back on September 21, 2017, when they held him to one catch for eight yards in Kittle's third NFL game. That was literally the only time in his career that any team ever held him to single digits in the receiving yards column. Kittle had to of hated that.

Not only that, but that was the last time the Rams held him to under 79 receiving yards in a game. He's played them six more times since then and went for at least 98 receiving yards in five of those games. That's crazy.

The way you attack this version of the Rams is with the tight end. Only eight teams have given up more receiving yards to the tight end than Los Angeles. Given game script, game plan and Kittle's hatred of the Rams, he should go 80+ tonight.

Van Jefferson 60+ receiving yards (+164)

Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing.

This is another one that made me smile when I saw it. It was glorious the way it was just sitting there next to all of the others. Like it had any chance of losing. I love when the books give us these.

This is just a play on the Robert Woods injury. I hate that guy got hurt but he did and someone will have to fill his role. The thing is, the role is a volume role and the Rams like to throw deep balls to Jefferson. That means we could see a big jump in production. What if he catches five or six short passes on top of a deep ball? We're in business and that could easily happen.

I think the Rams are going to have to move the ball through the air tonight as the 49ers have the NFL's sixth-best run defense (DVOA). Against the pass, they are 25th (DVOA). My guess is the 49ers take Cooper Kupp out while also giving attention to Odell Beckham Jr. when he's on the field. Even though there's no way he knows the playbook yet. I like Jefferson to go for at least 60+ tonight.

For you YOLO people, FanDuel is offering 80+ at +370. That is worth a wager as well.
