Baltimore Ravens vs Chicago Bears Same-Game Parlay: Did Justin Fields Finally Earn Some Trust?
The Chicago Bears will welcome the Baltimore Ravens to town as they look for their fourth win of the season. It’s been a disaster this year as the Bears have now lost four straight games with rookie quarterback Justin Fields under center.
However, it seems like the organization is starting to trust Justin Fields a little bit more as he brought Chicago back into their last game against the Steelers. Unfortunately, for the Bears, the Steelers ended up winning that game 29-27 but it was the near-comeback and poise that Fields showed that was special to the organization. The Bears feel like they’re close to winning again.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have been hot and cold all year and got a week and a half to regroup for this game against the Bears. Here’s a Same-Game Parlay for the game between the Ravens and Bears.
Ravens vs Bears Same-Game Parlay Picks
Ravens ML (-240)
Football is still a team game. Justin Fields isn’t the entire Bears team. So while Fields continues to improve, the entire Bears team really hasn’t.
Chicago has struggled to stop the run, allowing 122.8 yards per game and has looked awful in coverage, allowing nearly 250 yards passing. The Ravens offense should be able to rush the ball for huge gains and throw the ball for solid gains as well.
Meanwhile, the Ravens are allowing nearly the same amount of points as the Bears have. Baltimore hasn’t looked great either but has a better pass rush and a coverage unit that can at least get a stop or two.
Over 45 (-110)
I’ll feed into the hype regarding Fields. The Bears offense is improving and that’s a good sign if we’re going to add an over into this Same Game Parlay. Both defenses have been far below average, as both teams have allowed over 24 points per game this season.
You’ve also got the Ravens offense, which is scoring 25.7 points per game. They’re running extremely well and should find success passing the football as well against Chicago. Sometimes the Ravens just don’t show up. But after over a week to prepare and regroup, they’re going to bounce back, especially offensively.
Over 23.5 First Half Points (+115)
The Ravens and Bears should be able to put together massive gains on the ground. As the running game opens up in the first quarter, the passing game will open up in the second quarter and beyond. There’s going to be plenty of scoring.
Why not add a plus money bet to the Same Game Parlay that is correlated to the above leg? Neither defense has been very consistent and while the Ravens and Bears have had better days offensively this season, I’d expect both quarterbacks to scramble away from pressure and make big plays in this game, especially early. It’s time both of these teams set the tempo.
The Bears are going to want to come out strong to prove that the fourth quarter against the Steelers wasn’t a fluke. On the flip side, the Ravens will want to prove that their offense is more than capable of being great after last week’s disaster against the Dolphins.
