SNF Player Props Picks: The Best Bet for Los Angeles Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Sometimes in life, we just get lucky. It is what it is, and we can't even control it. I can think of one way we did just now when I looked at the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Chargers player prop lines. For some reason, the books continue to disrespect one of my favorite guys in the league. It's sad, but the only way we can get them to stop is by taking their money. I wish there were another way, but I just don't think there is.

Pat Freiermuth Over 3.5 receptions (-115)

Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

I went to DraftKings for this one since they want -140 for 3.5 at FanDuel. I don't see why they don't just kick it up to 4.5 receptions for plus money, but it is what it is. BetMGM has 3.5 for -115 if you need to go there. I would steer clear of FanDuel on this one at all costs, though.

This one is simple. Both teams are missing guys on defense for different reasons, and both offenses are capable of taking advantage. We just need the ball moving down the field to see this one hit. Freiermuth has hit the six target mark in each of the last four weeks, so if the Steelers are moving the ball, he should be involved.

As a little bonus, the Chargers are not great at covering tight ends, so when Freiermuth gets looks, he should be able to capitalize. On the season, only seven teams in the NFL have given up more receiving yards to the tight end position than Los Angeles. So I think he's in for a big night, and if he is targeted anywhere near the nine times he was last week, he will haul in at least four balls.
