Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Giants Picks

New York Giants +11 (-109)

Okay, let's not get crazy here -- I don't think the Giants win this game, but they can absolutely cover the big number. Their defense has played significantly better over the last three games, allowing just 39 points. Plus, New York is coming off the bye week, so they had two weeks to prepare for this game and are well-rested. Big Blue has won two of their last three and Vegas continues to undervalue them on the road as they are an impressive 21-6 against the spread in their last 27 away games. Joe Judge's team keeps it close against the defending champs.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team Total Over 30.5 (-115)

This is a perfect bounce-back game for a Bucs team that has struggled over the last few weeks. The Giants present a below-average defense and secondary, and I expect Tom Brady to carve them up tonight. This total is a tad too low for this Bucs offense at home in what will be a near-perfect get-right spot. I see the Bucs scoring at least four touchdowns and being able to add some field goals in the process. Let’s cash this one in!

New York Giants Team Total Over 18.5 (-110)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have allowed an average of 32.5 points per game in their last two games. In those two games, the Buccaneers took losses and haven't looked the same defensively. With the return of Saquon Barkley, the Giants just have so many weapons to go out and perform. I'm asking for three touchdowns from this Giants team. It does seem so easy and critics will talk about how Daniel Jones has really struggled in primetime. Either way, if Trevor Siemian and Taylor Heinicke can lead their teams to victory on the offensive end, so can Daniel Jones. However, I'm not going to take it that far. I'll just roll with the team total.

Tom Brady Over 0.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Yup, you read that right. We’re going with a Tom Brady rush prop on Monday Night Football. And, to be honest, I can’t really figure out why the number on this prop is so low. This season, Brady has rushed for at least one yard in all but two of his games. He is one of the great QB-sneak artists the game has ever seen. When the Bucs get in third or fourth and one, they almost always sneak it. Add that to the fact that he has the chance to just take off like the speed demon he is, and I’m all over him getting at least one yard tonight.

Daniel Jones Over 20.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Daniel Jones is bad against the blitz and Bruce Arians loves to blitz. The Giants' offensive line hasn't been fixed in the Gettleman era to solve this problem at the moment. We might cash this on one run or it might be a night of attrition to get over the line, but we will get there.

Saquon Barkley Over 21.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

There’s always some risk with a guy who hasn’t played in weeks but all reports breed confidence in Saquon’s health. Tampa is 11.5 point favorites, and I really think the oddsmakers have this spread right. The Giants provide zero pass rush and Brady will pick them apart early and often. Meaning, the G-Men will be playing from behind just as most opponents have against Tampa. Therefore, they will most likely abandon the run and be passing the ball. We can cash this one even in junk time. The Buccaneers, for the second season in a row, are among the bottom five in catches, yards, and touchdowns allowed to running backs through the air. Going back to 2019, Barkley’s topped this number in 12 out of 16 games. The Bucs have allowed a running back to eclipse this number in seven out of nine games this season. Best of luck if you tail!
