Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants Prediction: Can the Eagles Keep Rolling?

The New York Giants have so much talent on their roster, yet have fallen to 3-7 on the year. Now they’ll take on a Philadelphia Eagles club that just knocked off the New Orleans Saints at home, 40-29. The Eagles have looked much better offensively in the last four weeks.

The Eagles have scored 34.5 points per game in their last four and will now take on a Giants defense that just gave up 30 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With plenty of finger-pointing on the Giants locker room, is it safe to assume that the Giants are conceding on the season? Here are our picks and predictions for the Eagles vs Giants in a rivalry game on Sunday, November 28.

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants Prediction

The New York Giants have been absolutely pathetic all year long. Offensively, with as many weapons as they have, it’s a disgrace that they’re only scoring 18.9 points per game.

But that’s what’s taking place right now. The Giants have a terrible offensive line that has struggled to pass protect all season long. Meanwhile, the run game hasn’t done much of anything and with Saquan Barkley back, you’d expect better.

Meanwhile, the rushing defense has been extremely bad, allowing 119.7 yards per game on the ground. Going up against the Eagles won’t be an easy task as the Eagles are rushing the ball for 153.4 yards per game this season.

However, the Eagles haven’t been the best at stopping the run too, giving the Giants a serious chance at gaining major yards on the ground with Barkley and Daniel Jones, if he chooses to scramble.

The Eagles have been one of the more underrated teams in the league this year. On offense, they’re averaging 27 points per game and are giving up just 23.6 points per game. Still, even with that solid differential, the Eagles are 5-6 and looking to get back to .500 with a win against the Giants this week.

The Eagles have put together a solid offensive line and can rush the ball extremely well. On defense, they’re also big up front and have a pass rush that has been very effective.

Another area that has excelled for the Eagles has been in the tackling department. They’ve done really well with tackles and haven’t missed a whole lot this season.

With that, the Eagles matchup very well against the Giants. If the Giants want to win, they’ll need to find success on the ground. But the reality is, the Giants won’t with brutal playcalling and terrible effort. Take the Eagles as the road favorite.
