ANALYSIS

NFL Thanksgiving Picks: Cash In on This Cowboys vs. Raiders Same-Game Parlay

It's Thanksgiving and who doesn't love an ole' fashioned turkey day parlay! While Cowboys vs. Raiders may not be the traditional Thanksgiving game we expect, I think it will end up being the most entertaining of the three games.

Both teams are in different positions coming into this game. The Raiders have not looked good recently, on offense or defense, and are struggling to win games. Dallas faced a tough defeat against Kansas City and sustained some key injuries -- CeeDee Lamb's status will be important to monitor.

Cowboys vs. Raiders 3-leg Same-Game Parlay (+220) - DraftKings

Leg 1: Dallas Cowboys Moneyline

Let's start with the Cowboys MoneyLine.

The Cowboys are currently 7-3 this season with their only losses coming at the hands of Chiefs, Broncos, and Buccaneers. Not only have they defeated some very good football teams, including the Chargers and Patriots, but they have beaten everyone they were supposed to, besides the Broncos.

If there is one thing the Raiders are known for over these last couple of seasons it's second-half collapses. It seems like the Raiders are always the team that gets out to a hot start before unfortunately falling apart in the second half of the season. Since this midseason coaching change, this team has looked disoriented, and I expect that to continue on Thursday.

Leg 2: Ezekiel Elliott Anytime TD

Now let's talk about Ezekiel Eliott and how he's going to find the endzone!

Zeke currently has seven touchdowns this season, which is tied for sixth in the NFL. While he's not had the greatest production recently -- only two touchdowns over his last five games -- this is a great bounceback spot. We just saw Joe Mixon run all over this team last week and score twice. The Raiders give up the seventh-most rushing yards per game this season and can clearly be beat on the ground.

Oh, and since 2020, Zeke is averaging 21 more rushing yards per game with Tyron Smith in the lineup, and he returns this week.

Leg 3: Dalton Schultz Over 44.5 Receiving Yards

Dalton Schultz has been a good pass-catching threat this season and should step up this week considering all the injuries. While Lamb returning might worry some people, I think that will take some pressure off of Schultz. Remember when I mentioned Tyron Smith returning? Well, it's not just great for the rushing game. Cowboys average 1.4 more yards per dropback with him starting -- that's a huge bump for one player. Schultz is averaging 49.1 receiving yards per game and just recorded eight targets for six catches and 53 yards last week. He's hit this number in 7 of 10 games this season and I think he puts on a show for us on Thanksgiving.
