Matt O'Leary shares three big bets that you can stuff your wallet with this Thanksgiving.

NFL Thanksgiving Betting: Stuff Your Wallet With These Three Big Bets

We’re treated to three games on Thanksgiving every year for a full slate of NFL football. We’ll all have to suffer through the discomfort of watching the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears try to play football first up on the docket.

The Cowboys always follow and this year they’re hosting the Raiders for an old-school matchup. Unfortunately, the Raiders have taken a swan dive losing five of their last seven games after a 3-0 start to the season.

The final game on the slate, Saints vs Bills, might be the best one on the slate. Even though both teams have struggled mightily lately. Anyway, what I have for you today is three ways for you to win big on Thanksgiving.

Bears -9.5 + David Montgomery 60+ rushing yards +320

First, we’re taking a look at this parlay from the first game that could net you a +320 return on the play. Starting with Chicago, they’re favored by three points but with Detroit they’re a hard team to read. They’ve put up back-to-back good efforts tying the Steelers 16-16 two weeks ago and losing 13-10 to the Browns last week. Can we count on three weeks in a row good performance? I say no, this team has lost by double digits five times already this year.

As for David Montgomery, he should have a good day on the ground. Chicago will likely go conservative on offense with Andy Dalton at the helm and the Lions can’t stop the run if their lives depended on it. They’re allowing over 140 yards per game on the ground this season.

Taysom Hill Anytime TD +500

In the late-night game, let’s get nuts with a Taysom Hill anytime TD scorer play. He’s fresh off a new contract and so far this year he only has three touchdowns none of which are through the air. It’s been since week four since Hill has gotten into the endzone and he did so in back-to-back games against the Patriots and Giants. Can he do it again this week? His usage has been down significantly this year but the value at +500 is enough to get me to bite.

Bears to win with shutout +2200

Here’s the big boy, Chicago to win with a shutout at +2200. If any of the three games is going to end in a shutout it’s this one. Let’s assume that Jared Goff is unable to play and the Lions are forced to run out Tim Boyle again this week. This is a guy who threw for 77 yards on 23 attempts last week. The Lions haven’t been shutout this year and obviously, it’s a long shot but sometimes, you have to live life on the edge. This could be a fun one if the Lions are struggling to put up points.
