Week 12 brings about a divisional matchup between the Denver Broncos and Las Angeles Chargers. Stuart Durst gives you one player prop you don't want to miss out on.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers Player Prop Picks: Getting Value With Melvin Gordon

Who doesn't love a good ole fashioned rivalry game! These two teams have obviously had varied success over the last couple of years but bookmakers are predicting a close game with the spread varying from 2.5 to 3 across different sportsbooks. The Chargers currently possess a 6-4 record and are coming off of an intense primetime victory over the Steelers last week.

The Broncos are currently 5-5 but their reputation definitely doesn't seem to imply they are still in contention. Maybe it's because they just got demolished by the Eagles, but it seems like the public doesn't believe in the Broncos and see them a level below the Chargers, despite a difference of just one win.

The Broncos are getting some important reinforcements in this game with the return of linebacker Bradley Chubb. Chubb is someone that I am personally very high on, and even own a defensive player of the year ticket for. While my ticket might be unsuccessful this season, I could see him having a very successful game. Constantly getting pressure on Justin Herbert will be very important for the Broncos.

Despite the fact that I think the Broncos are being a bit underrated, I'll still take the Chargers -2.5 here. Maybe I'm a sucker for one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL but this team is able to score quickly and I'm not sure the Broncos can keep up. While I do like Chubb alot, he's still not gonna be back to 100% and I'm not sure they will be able to get enough pressure in this game. I think this will be a competitive game but I’m confident the Chargers win this one by at least a field goal.

Melvin Gordon Anytime Touchdown (+150)

Most of you guys already know that touchdown props are a very volatile market but I think we are getting good value here. Gordon is currently +130 to score a TD on DraftKings but already down to -115 on Fanduel and +100 on MGM -- using the OddsChecker grid we can see him at +150 at Bet365. My price on this specific prop would be even money or +100, so the 50 points we are getting here is very nice.

Who doesn't love a REVENGE GAME! Melvin Gordon made his name in a Chargers uniform but has since split from the team, not on the best terms if I may add. Gordon has taken advantage of every opportunity to take shots at the Chargers since leaving and clearly didn't think he was getting the respect he deserved with his former team. All of gambling twitter has fallen in love with Javonte Williams but we have to remember that this is still a completely split backfield, especially with Gordon getting a lot of work in the red zone.

Gordon has seven total touchdowns this season in his 10 games. While that's impressive, he's only gotten better as of recently. Gordon has a touchdown in four straight games and I expect him to continue that streak on Sunday. Not only do we have the narratives on our side, but seeing his red zone usage increase in recent weeks really gives me confidence here.
