Fantasy Football Week 13: 8 Streamers, Sleepers, and Waiver Wire Adds

Streamers are players you can plug and play each week to fill a void in your fantasy football lineups. These players are rostered in a low percentage of leagues and should be available for you to pick up.

I will focus on the best player at each position every week who are rostered in under 50% of leagues. Typically, these will be guys you won’t want to drop too much of your free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB) on as they will be mostly short-term solutions.

The hope is that the players listed below will perform well enough to make up for any starters you may have to sit due to injury, suspension, or bye weeks. Maybe they even become viable starters for your fantasy teams going forward.

Streamers, Sleepers, and Waiver Wire Adds

Quarterback

Tyrod Taylor, Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts

Tyrod Taylor isn’t the flashiest quarterback, but that’s why he’s available for you to stream. Typically, when you stream, you are looking for a favorable matchup. That’s exactly what Taylor has in Week 13.

The Indianapolis Colts have given up the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year. Although you can’t count on many passing yards from Tyrod, you can expect him to utilize his legs which gives you a safe floor.

The Colts have allowed a quarterback to rush for more than 30 yards 3 times this season. Ryan Tannehill rushed for 56 yards against this defense and Taylor is much better in the mobile department.

Tyrod Taylor has 2 passing touchdowns and 2 rushing touchdowns in his last 2 games.

Suggested FAAB: 3%

Additional Week 13 QB Streamer to Consider

  • Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team (@ Las Vegas Raiders) - FAAB: 2%

Running Back

Boston Scott, Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Jets

Boston Scott has made his presence known with double-digit carries in 4 of his last 5 games. He’s also rushed for 60 or more yards and/or scored a touchdown in 4 of his last 6 games. Scott is coming off a great performance, rushing for 64 yards on 15 carries and scoring a touchdown.

The New York Jets have given up the most fantasy points to running backs this year. They have allowed multiple running backs from the same team to score touchdowns a total of 5 times this year. So, if you are worried about Boston Scott being in a running back by committee situation, just remember how bad the Jets have been against the run. Boston Scott is getting touches and I expect he’ll get a bunch this week.

Suggested FAAB: 5%

Additional Week 13 RB Streamer to Consider

  • Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions (vs Minnesota Vikings) - FAAB: 4%

Wide Receiver

Van Jefferson Jr., Los Angeles Rams vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Van Jefferson Jr. has some up and down weeks. Matthew Stafford loves to target him, though. Jefferson has 6 or more targets in 7 of 11 games for the Rams this season. He has 4 touchdowns on the year and 40 or more receiving yards in 8 games. He hasn’t had fewer than 6 targets since Week 6!

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been mediocre against wideouts this season. This matchup isn’t really why I’m suggesting to stream Jefferson, however. It’s more about his recent successes in the Rams’ offense.

Van Jefferson Jr. has 40 or more receiving yards in 5 consecutive games, including 2 touchdowns in that span. He’s coming off his best game of the season and will look to carry that momentum against the Jaguars this week.

Suggested FAAB: 5%

Additional Week 13 WR Streamer to Consider

  • Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons (vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - FAAB: 3%

Tight End

Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears vs Arizona Cardinals

We all know by now how frustrating the tight end position can be. Cole Kmet hasn’t been consistent, but he does have some encouraging numbers, even in a difficult matchup.

Kmet has 6 or more targets in 4 of his last 5 games. That’s 4th-best among all tight ends in that span. He ranks 10th at the position in targets (57) on the year and somehow has not scored a touchdown yet, this season.

Whether it’s Andy Dalton or Justin Fields at quarterback, Cole Kmet demands targets. I expect the Bears to throw a ton to keep up with Arizona’s offense. I believe this is the week Kmet scores his first touchdown of the season.

Suggested FAAB: 3%

Additional Week 13 TE Streamer to Consider

  • Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders (vs Washington Football Team) - FAAB: 2%
