Washington Football Team vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction: Can Washington Continue The Win Streak?

The Washington Football Team has won three straight games and is currently still in a tight race for the NFC East. Now they’ll head out on the road to take on the Las Vegas Raiders, who are also in a tight race for the AFC West division.

The Raiders ended a three-game slide after defeating Dallas last week and will look to beat up another NFC East opponent in back-to-back weeks.

Here are our picks and predictions for the Football Team vs Raiders for Sunday, December 5.

Washington Football Team vs Las Vegas Raiders Prediction

Things are starting to come together for the Washington Football Team. Washington has won its last three games against the Buccaneers, Panthers, and Seahawks. However, all three wins were by 10 points or fewer.

Washington has scored 20.8 points per game while allowing 25.6 points per game. The offense is averaging just 364.3 yards per game while the defense is giving up 369.6 yards per game.

The Football team has been tremendous with their offensive line which has helped subpar play from Taylor Heinicke look solid. He’s still thrown 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the year. But I’ll give Heinicke credit. He has the fanbase believing and has a cool swag about him.

The defense has dominated in the pass rush but has struggled in coverage this season. Now without Chase Young, the pass rush isn’t the same, except for the fact that the Football Team continues to win with Young off the field.

On the other hand, the Raiders are 6-5 on the season and trail the Kansas City Chiefs by one game in the AFC West. The Raiders had lost three straight before winning against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, 36-33 in overtime. Both teams didn’t play all that well defensively and neither team looked like they really wanted it as both teams had countless opportunities to put the game away.

Either way, the Raiders came out with the win and have some terrific playmakers that could really hurt Washington’s secondary. The protection isn’t nearly as good as Washington’s but there are more reliable options on the Raiders offense, even without Henry Ruggs now.

The defense for the Raiders has been weak. They’ve allowed 26.8 points per game but have only allowed 372.4 yards per game. Offensively, Las Vegas is gaining more yards but scoring less.

Therefore, I’ll roll with Washington and its winning streak in this one.

Washington Football Team vs Las Vegas Raiders Pick
