Can the Detroit Lions do it again? Jason Radowitz makes his play for Lions vs Broncos in Week 14.

Detroit Lions vs Denver Broncos Prediction**: Will the Lions win two straight?**

The Detroit Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings last weekend on the final play of the game with a passing touchdown from Jared Goff to Amon-Ra St. Brown. That was the Lions’ first win of the season. Now they’ll look for win number two as the Lions head to Denver to take on the Broncos.

Currently, the Lions are still in line for the first pick of the NFL Draft. However, with a couple more wins, Detroit would find themselves trending down in the order. With the Broncos losing two of their last three, the Lions have some momentum and plenty of confidence.

Will the Lions find a way for their second win of the season? Here are our picks and predictions for the Lions vs Broncos game for Sunday, December 12.

Detroit Lions vs Denver Broncos Prediction

The Denver Broncos haven’t been the best offense this season. Despite only scoring 19.8 points per game, the Broncos are sticking by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater with Drew Lock sitting and waiting on the bench for another opportunity.

The offense has averaged just 360.8 yards per game and scored just 22 points combined in their last two losses. Basically, if Denver is shut down, the Broncos will ultimately lose.

On the season, Bridgewater has thrown for 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions behind pass protection that has not been up to par this season. The running game has plenty of talent with Javonte Williams running the show, but Denver just can never find ways to get their best players involved at a high rate.

The playmaking on the Broncos has never been in question. Somehow, the Broncos always struggle to get all of their players trending upwards at the same time.

Meanwhile, the defense for Denver has only allowed 18.2 points per game. On the season, teams are averaging just 340.3 yards per game, but after Denver let go of Von Miller, it seemed like the Broncos were conceding.

There’s no one thing that Denver does well with on the defensive end. They don’t have anyone playing at an extraordinary level and each position group grades out as an average group. When the season concludes, the number of points per game that Denver has allowed will continue to rise.

Against the Lions, Denver should be fine defensively, however. The Lions are scoring just 16.9 points per game on 332.3 yards per game. The defense, on the other hand, is allowing nearly 400 yards per game. However, last week, Detroit scored 29 points against the Vikings. The offense might be coming together after all.

However, it helps to be home. Now heading out on the road against Denver, it’ll be much more difficult. I won’t buy into the Detroit hype and believe the Broncos win this game soundly.
