Fantasy Football Week 15: 8 Streamers, Sleepers, and Waiver Wire Adds

Streamers are players you can plug and play each week to fill a void in your fantasy football lineups. These players are rostered in a low percentage of leagues and should be available for you to pick up.

I will focus on the best player at each position every week who are rostered in under 50% of leagues. Typically, these will be guys you won’t want to drop too much of your free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB) on as they will be mostly short-term solutions.

The hope is that the players listed below will perform well enough to make up for any starters you may have to sit due to injury, suspension, or bye weeks. Maybe they even become viable starters for your fantasy teams going forward.

Quarterback

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers vs Atlanta Falcons

Jimmy Garoppolo is on fire. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in 5 of his last 6 games. He has back-to-back games with 295+ passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Garoppolo is rostered in just 30% of fantasy leagues and gets a juicy matchup to kickoff the fantasy playoffs in Week 15.

The Atlanta Falcons have given up the 2nd most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. They have given up 3 touchdowns to Taylor Heinicke, 4 touchdowns to Tua Tagovailoa, and 2 touchdowns to Trevor Siemian, so you don’t need a star quarterback to produce against the Falcons.

With how well Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers offense is playing, this would be a great opportunity for your fantasy teams should you need the help in Week 15.

Suggested FAAB: 12%

Additional Week 15 QB Streamer to Consider

· Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - FAAB: 7%

Running Back

J.D. McKissic, Washington Football Team @ Philadelphia Eagles

It’s an absolute wasteland in waivers for the running back position. Someone that could offer help hasn’t played in the last 2 weeks. J.D. McKissic is expected to return for the Washington Football Team in Week 15.

In his last 2 games played, McKissic totaled 14 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown. He was effective as a pass catcher as well totaling 6 receptions for 30 yards and a receiving score.

The Philadelphia Eagles have given up the 13th most fantasy points to running backs. I’m expecting Washington to get McKissic involved in a difficult divisional matchup.

If you are in desperate need for help at running back this week, McKissic could be your answer.

Suggested FAAB: 8%

Additional Week 15 RB Streamer to Consider

· Mike Davis, Atlanta Falcons (@ San Francisco 49ers) - FAAB: 3%

Wide Receiver

DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets

DeVante Parker has missed a lot of football this year, including a stint on the injured reserve with a hamstring injury. When he has played, his volume has been amazing.

Parker has played in 6 games this season and has averaged 8 targets per game. He returned from IR in Week 13 against the New York Giants and caught all 5 of his passes for 62 yards.

Now that Parker has had an extra week (Dolphins Week 14 bye) of healing/rest time, I fully expect him to be heavily targeted against the New York Jets in Week 15 and for the remainder of the season. I recommend spending whatever you need to acquire him as he would be a great option for one of your wide receiver or flex spots.

Suggested FAAB: 20%

Additional Week 15 WR Streamer to Consider

· Josh Reynolds, Detroit Lions (vs Arizona Cardinals) - FAAB: 9%

Tight End

Austin Hooper, Cleveland Browns vs Las Vegas Raiders

The wasteland I spoke of for running backs on the waiver wire is even worse for tight ends. There aren’t enough safe floor or consistent options at the position to fill a fantasy league. This is why most will stream the position weekly.

Austin Hooper does demand targets from Baker Mayfield and targets are what you want for your fantasy tight end. He has 5 or more targets in 4 of his last 6 games. He has scored twice and has totaled 19 receptions in that span.

The Las Vegas Raiders have given up the 2nd most fantasy points to tight ends this season. They have allowed 3 touchdowns to the position in the last 3 games.

Suggested FAAB: 6%

Additional Week 15 TE Streamer to Consider

  • Evan Engram, New York Giants (vs Dallas Cowboys) - FAAB: 4%
