Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers prediction and pick for Week 15's game. Jason Radowitz breaks down the game and why he's making his pick

Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction: Can the Steelers Pull Off an Upset?

The Tennessee Titans are 9-4 on the season. To be quite frank, it’s the quietest 9-4 season the NFL has ever had. Nobody wants to credit the Titans for success.

The Titans are just two-point favorites against a 6-6-1 Pittsburgh Steelers team, on the road. The Steelers have lost three of their last four games while the Titans bounced back last week with a win over Jacksonville.

When the Titans win games, it’s usually because of really solid defense. Last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers looked brutal on offense until it was too late.

Here are our picks and predictions for Sunday’s AFC matchup between the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 pm ET on CBS.

Tennessee vs Pittsburgh Betting Line Movement

Tennessee vs Pittsburgh Prediction

The Pittsburgh Steelers have lost three of their last four games and have three losses along with a tie in their last five games.

The lone win came against the Ravens in a 20-19 disaster of a game. Neither team really deserved to win that game but the Steelers came out on top by a point.

Pittsburgh is averaging just 20.9 points per game while allowing 24.9 points per game. The Steelers haven’t been this bad in such a long time. The offensive line looks brutal while the defense is allowing so much more than ever before under Mike Tomlin.

The defense is giving up close to 400 yards of offense per game with nearly 140 yards rushing. That never happened under Mike Tomlin. The rushing defense and defense, in general, used to be amazing.

The secondary is getting beat up while the run game has also looked completely lost with missed tackles and massive open holes galore.

Meanwhile, the Titans are 9-4 on the season, but if you watched sports media, you wouldn’t really know it. The Titans are averaging 24.9 points per game on 366.7 yards per game. The defense, on the other hand, has allowed 360.8 yards per game and 22.3 points per game.

The Titans have looked solid in the secondary and should be able to keep up with Pittsburgh’s receivers in this matchup. While the running game hasn’t looked all that solid this season, the Titans have still allowed just 90.9 yards per game.

I wouldn’t count on the Titans holding Najee Harris below 100 yards, but so far, they’ve held many legitimate running backs to just that, despite poor tackling all over the field.

Regardless, the Titans are certainly the better team. The Ravens have won just one game in their last five and look completely lost this season. If the Steelers don’t put together a full game, the Titans will win this one on the road.
