Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots Same-Game Parlay Picks: Back the Passing Game

How you build your same game parlay is heavily going to rely on your projected game script, no matter who's playing. This week, I'd imagine we see plenty of running back heavy parlays, counting on the success of MVP candidate Jonathan Taylor and Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson with Damien Harris injured.

My opinion on this game is a tad bit different. We have the Colts, one of the league's best run defenses, facing off against Bill Belichick, who not only is one of the greatest coaches of all time but is specifically known for limiting opposing teams' best players. Taylor is the Colts' best player, and their success has really lived and died with his performance.

Colts vs. Patriots Same-Game Parlay Picks

Carson Wentz 170+ Passing Yards

Carson Wentz has gone over 170 passing yards this season in 10/13 games. In those three misses, they beat the Texans by 31 points, the Bills by 31 points, and the 49ers by 12 in a fairly one-sided performance. All of these misses came in games where they easily won.

I'm expecting coach Belichick to do his best to limit Jonathan Taylor. If they can keep him under 80-90 yards, then Carson Wentz likely gets closer to 300 yards through the air. This is a massive game for Wentz; his record isn't the best in some of these games where his team relies on him, and this will be a tremendous spot to prove those haters wrong.

Kendrick Bourne OVER 25.5 Receiving Yards

Bourne has been impressive with the Patriots this season after sticking around in the 49ers run-heavy system for the last couple of years. He has 639 total yards on the season to go with his five touchdowns, and I'm expecting another good performance.

Taking out last games three pass attempts matchup against the Bills, he's hit this number in ten straight weeks. While Bourne has his ups and downs, with some really impressive spike weeks of 98 yards against Cleveland and 96 against New Orleans, his floor has been the low 30's. Nevertheless, Bourne has carved out a strong role for himself this year, and I expect it to be on full display this week.

Mac Jones 199+ Passing Yards

Like I said before, this Colts defensive line is legit. Mac Jones has been one of the more impressive rookies this season, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and now needs to take on a tough Colts defense. While their pass defense isn't bad, I think this team may run into a situation where they will need to throw a little more than people may think.

He's gone over this number in 9/13 games this season, but once again, we can sense an obvious pattern of where he missed. In those misses, they won 45-7, 24-6, and 25-6, along with a game where he only threw the ball three times. Mac Jones may not have eye-popping numbers that jump off the page, but his success rate is through the roof when this team plays competitive games.
