Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings MNF Same-Game Parlay: Give Us Points

Just last week, on Thursday Night Football, the Minnesota Vikings and Kirk Cousins proved us wrong with a statement win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. This week, in prime time again, they are going to Chicago to play the Bears at Soldier Field.

For this NFC North rivalry game, I’m working on a three-leg same-game parlay that could yield a +155 return if it hits. Let’s take a look and get into it.

Leg 1: Bears over 19.5 Points

Last week, Chicago played nearly perfect on offense and still lost because Aaron Rodgers is Aaron Rodgers and hung a 45 spot on this Bears defense. The point is offensively, they’ve actually been better the last couple of weeks combining for 52 points in that span. In fact, in three of Justin Fields’ last four starts the Bears as a team have gone over the 20 point mark in that game. Considering the Viking, on average, are allowing 26 points per game against and they haven’t held an opponent under 20 points since Week 5 against the Detroit Lions.

Leg 2: Vikings over 19.5 points

Unlike their defense, the Vikings offense is pretty solid. They're 11th in points for on the season and they’ve hit 20 points or more in six straight games. For Chicago, that defense just isn’t any good. They too are allowing 26 points per game on average and have allowed opponents to go over 20 points in six of their last eight games. The only two where they held strong was against the Lions in Week 12 and the Ravens with Tyler Huntley starting the week prior.

Leg 3: over 44.5 points

Honestly, I didn’t feel comfortable picking a winner even with the moneyline so instead, I’m going with the over. As I stated, neither of these two defenses are any good and both of these teams have been clicking on offense recently. I think we’re in for a shootout on Monday Night Football and if that’s the case expect this number to come in at about 50 combined points, not 44.

Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings Pick

3-leg same-game parlay +155 (Bet $100 to win $155)

  • Leg 1: Bears over 19.5 Points
  • Leg 2: Vikings over 19.5 points
  • Leg 3: over 44.5 points
