Week 15 Anytime TD Picks: Tuesday's Best Bets

Wow! What a way to kick off Christmas week! We've been awarded the gift of NFL action for the fourth day in a row coming into Tuesday. It gets even better, with the schedule changes we'll have seen NFL games in eight out of ten days. WHAT A COUNTRY!

Unfortunately, these schedule changes are due to the ongoing COVID pandemic but we have to embrace every day with what comes. On Tuesday night we'll have two games both kicking off at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Los Angeles Rams battle with their division rival Seattle Seahawks and there's an NFC East matchup featuring the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Football Team. There were over 120 players placed on the COVID-list over the weekend. There are still some big names from all four of these teams still not having cleared so there are some unknowns. There's still a chance some names like Tyler Higbee, Tyler Lockett, or Taylor Heinicke are activated ahead of tonight's games so I highly recommend keeping a close eye on the news throughout the day.

At this point, it's really important to stay on top of the breaking news because you can get a late scratch from a big name and snag a guy at crazy value. We've already seen three games moved from the weekend that includes these two on Tuesday. With COVID moving games and putting players, coaches, and staff's on the sideline it's going to be a really interesting game of cat and mouse with the books and oddsmakers the rest of the way.

The last two nights have barely supplied any touchdowns but tonight will certainly be different. I've narrowed down the best anytime touchdown picks for the games on Tuesday night. With Week 15's final two games here I'm looking for another strong night of anytime touchdown picks and looking to continue to build our profit this season. Let's keep things rolling! Best of luck if you tail!

Tuesday's Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Van Jefferson (+225)

In the last three games, Matthew Stafford has at least 275 passing yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, over the past four weeks -- Seattle's pass defense has been AWFUL, allowing an NFL-high 287 passing yards per game. Teams facing the Seahawks during that stretch are averaging 39.5 pass attempts, good for the fourth-most in the league, while Seattle ranks 25th in pressure rate in that span. Van Jefferson is the new Robert Woods. He has seven straight games with at least one end zone target and has now scored in three straight. Seattle's defense has its flaws but defending the deep ball isn't one of them. They are second in the NFL in completions of at least 20 yards. Odell Beckham is the big-play threat where the Rams are utilizing Van in the Woods role. I'm opting for Van over OBJ because of those factors and the longer odds we are able to grab.

DK Metcalf (+210)

Expecting DK Metcalf to score or just produce more than 50 yards in a game has been a huge ask. Over the last two weeks though Russell Wilson seems to be back to his old self. Last week against Houston, Metcalf was wide open on a slant from eight yards out and it would have been an easy walk-in touchdown, but Wilson threw it behind him. Metcalf did reel in a touchdown from over 20 yards out earlier in the game but it was called back due to a holding call. So while Tyler Lockett has been the star and it appears DK has taken a back seat if you just look at the box score I argue he's extremely active in the red zone. With Lockett currently on the COVID-list, I'm banking on Metcalf to have a big night. Instead of pivoting to Freddie Swain or a secondary Seattle pass-catcher, we need to trust Metcalf on Tuesday night. Back in Week 5, Wilson was having a great game before injuring his finger against the Rams. Metcalf hauled in a touchdown from Russ in that game early on. So despite Jalen Ramsey being activated for this game I like Metcalf to get in the end zone in what should be a high-scoring affair. These are the longest odds we've seen on Metcalf since his rookie season to score. This price can be found at Bet365 at the moment.

Ricky Seals-Jones (+450)

Philadelphia has allowed the most receptions, yards, and touchdowns, to tight ends this season entering Week 15. With Logan Thomas out for Washington, Ricky Seals-Jones has a ton of upside. Unlike in Weeks 5-8, RSJ will most likely be splitting more snaps with rookie tight end John Bates though. In RSJ's last seven games he's garnered at least 4 targets. The question still remains of who will be passing the ball for Washington on Tuesday night, but there won't be a better matchup on the field to exploit than the Eagles defense with a tight end.

Kendall Blanton (+500)

The Rams and Seahawks game projects to have the same pace of play as the Chiefs and Chargers did on Thursday night. Remember how fun that was when we kicked off Week 15? With Tyler Higbee on the COVID-list Blanton steps into a huge role for this explosive Rams offense. With this game projected to have plenty of offense, I love the shot we're taking here with Blanton. Higbee was placed on the COVID-19 list before last week's game, Blanton started and played 52 of 58 offensive snaps. We can absolutely expect more of the same on Tuesday. The Seahawks defense is certainly vulnerable defending tight ends. They are tied with the fourth-most scores allowed to the position and back in Week 5, Higbee found the end zone against them.
