TNF Tennessee Titans vs. San Francisco 49ers Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Last week we were awarded NFL action for four days in a row. Unfortunately, that didn't turn into many wins for our anytime touchdown picks. I've gotten to the bottom of what happened.

There were only 40 touchdowns scored this past Sunday! The 40 total touchdowns scored were the least in any Sunday with at least 10 games since Nov. 27, 1994! That's no bueno!

Do you know what else isn't great? With Derrick Henry in the lineup this season, the Titans averaged 5.56 yards per play. In the six games without him, that number drops to 4.5. To put that number in perspective, the Texans rank 32nd for the season in yards per play at 4.5.

Some good news may be on the way though, they might be activating star wide receiver AJ Brown from Injured Reserve! This game projects to be slow moving as both of these teams are run first. Both sides rank among the best in the league at stopping the run though! Their secondaries are weak so there's a good chance we see the passing games get going.

More good news is, we have a quick turnaround and we're back at it on Thursday night with our anytime touchdown picks! I've narrowed down the best options for anytime touchdown scorers for you here on Thursday Night Football between the Titans and 49ers. I'm going with three of my favorite picks here. A few weeks back I mentioned how the analysis I've done will always support our picks. We're not just throwing noodles at the wall and seeing if they stick! Let's get to the best anytime touchdown picks for Thursday night! Best of luck if you tail!

Even better than my picks is the OddscheckerUS website compares odds from every sportsbook for every NFL game. This includes odds for anytime touchdown scorers and we find where you can get the best price for your bet.

Titans vs. 49ers Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

AJ Brown (+165)

I'm not afraid to turn to AJ Brown here coming off of Injured Reserve. If in fact, he is activated before Thursday night's game. The 49ers have just one cornerback ranked inside the top 75 at the position. Meanwhile, AJ Brown is one of the most electric players when healthy. The problem this season hasn't been his performance on the field it's simply been his availability. He's among the top six players in the NFL in yards per route run. The 49ers rank in the bottom half of the NFL in catches, yards, and scores allowed to opposing wide-outs. Typically, Brown lines up on the right side of the formation and that will pin him against Ambry Thomas of the 49ers. There won't be a better matchup on the field Thursday night to be exploited. I even like Brown to score two times in his first game back!

Brandon Aiyuk (+320)

He's coming off a terrible game against the awful Falcons defense but the Titans present an equally bad secondary. Tennessee will get back their best corner in Janoris Jenkins. He hasn't had a great season but he'll line up with Deebo Samuel on most plays. The Titans have allowed the most receptions, the second-most yards, and are tied with the third-most scores allowed to wide receivers.

George Kittle (+145)

Instead of opting for the easiest option in Deebo here, we're going with Kittle at a slightly better price. There simply isn't much value to be had in this game. Kittle has a tough matchup as the Titans have been excellent slowing down tight ends. The difference is though Kittle isn't your average tight end. The 49ers have been on a tear of late and I think it directly correlates to Kittle returning from Injured Reserve back in Week 9. He's now scored in 5 out of the 7 games and has led the 49ers in targets by a wide margin over that span. I mentioned earlier how terrible the Titans are on the outside, I think Kittle will have opportunities to exploit this Titans secondary.
