ANALYSIS

Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Football Team SNF Same-Game Parlay: Trusting Dallas At Home

The Dallas Cowboys play host to the Washington Football Team at home this week on Sunday Night Football. At 10-4, the Cowboys just clinched a playoff birth last week and are looking for their fourth straight win.

As for Washington, they had it tough last week with numerous players out due to COVID. They've now lost back-to-back games after fighting to get back to .500 at 6-6. Taylor Heinicke was activated off the COVID list and is expected to start though so at least there is a positive sign.

For this Sunday Night Football matchup, I'm looking at a three-leg parlay at +149. Let's take a look.

Cowboys vs WFT Odds

Leg 1: Dallas Cowboys -10

Yes, 10 is a big number for a divisional game but I don't care. The Cowboys are the best team in the league against the spread with an 11-3 record and an ATS +/- of 4.2. Washington on the other hand is just 5-8-1 and have an ATS +/- of -1.1. Dallas should roll and when these two teams met up just two weeks ago, the Cowboys won by seven on the road. At home, it should be a bigger margin of victory.

Leg 2: Cowboys double result

This is the Cowboys leading at the end of the first half and at the end of the game. Over their last three games, the Cowboys are averaging 17.3 points in the first half of their games. As for the Washington Football Team, well they are averaging just 5.7. I don't expect that to change this week as they're recovering from COVID and with Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs causing havoc for the Cowboys on defense.

Leg 3: WFT Under 17.5 points

In three of the WFT's last four games, they've been under this number. Ironically, the only time they cleared it was against Dallas a couple of weeks ago but I don't think they have that same success. Expect some rust as Heinicke missed a week plus against Dallas had arguably his worst game of the season with just 122 passing yards and a 55.7 rating.

Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Football Team Pick

3-leg same-game parlay +149 (Bet $100 to win $149)

  • Cowboys -10
  • Cowboys double result
  • WFT under 17.5
