ANALYSIS

New York Jets vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction: Can the Jets Keep the Game Close at Home?

The New York Jets are coming off a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jets proved that they're not the worst team in the league and that they might actually be the best-worst team in the NFL. Of course, it's nothing to celebrate, but a win is a win, and watching quarterback Zach Wilson make some big-time plays was satisfying. However, Wilson and the Jets will welcome Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to MetLife Stadium for another Tom Brady versus the Jets game.

If you recall, when the Patriots had Tom Brady, the Jets usually always struggled to stop Brady and the Patriots. This game should be no different with Brady going up against a defense that couldn't even get many stops against the Jaguars. Here are our picks and predictions for the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets.

New York Jets vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction

You can expect this game to go just how mostly every game between Tom Brady and the New York Jets went. Throughout his career, Brady has gone 30-8 in 38 games played against the Jets. So yeah. There's a good chance Brady defeats the Jets on Sunday.

Brady has thrown for 37 touchdowns while throwing 11 interceptions on the year. Unfortunately, he's had to watch many of his teammate's battle injuries and is stuck without many options on the field right now.

He's got wide receiver Antonio Brown and his tight ends like Cameron Brate and Rob Gronkowski, but for now, he's without wideouts like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jaelon Darden, and running back Leonard Fournette. But that didn't stop Brady from dominating the Panthers, on the road, 32-6 last week. The Buccaneers had a weird weekend last week against the Saints, but ultimately, things move much smoother when Brady and the Buccaneers don't play the Saints. The Buccaneers won't have to worry about the Saints come playoff time, as the Saints just lost another game last weekend to the Dolphins with Ian Book at quarterback.

Anyway, the Jets are allowing just under 30 points per game and giving up over 400 yards of offense on the defensive end this season. The Buccaneers, no matter who is on the field, should have plenty of success offensively with Brady throwing the rock. The spread is just under two touchdowns, but I've watched the Jets enough this year to know that the

The Jets will struggle to do much of anything on both sides of the ball in this game.
