3 NFL Parlay Picks For Week 17 Late Sunday Afternoon Games

With Thursday Night Football done, we have a packed late window slate on Sunday with five matchups. First, you have the Houston Texans traveling to take on the San Francisco 49ers, a divisional matchup between the Broncos and Chargers, the Panthers taking on the Saints, Detroit heading to Seattle, and finally, the Cardinals taking on the Cowboys in likely the best game in the slate.

As per usual, I’m here with three parlay plays for you in the late window games. With more games on the slate we have a lot to get into, so let’s do it.

ML Parlay: 49ers, Chargers, Saints, Seahawks, Cowboys (+299)

The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a road loss to the Tennessee Titans on Thursday of Week 16. As of right now, the 49ers would be the sixth seed in the NFC, if they want to ensure a playoff birth a win over the Texans is necessary before closing out the season against the Rams in Week 18. The Texans have played better recently but still, San Fran is the better team and should take care of business at home.

The Chargers and the Broncos are two teams that are hard to figure out. They’re both incredibly inconsistent but give me the team with the better quarterback. The Chargers already lost on the road in Denver in Week 12, I don’t anticipate the Broncos sweeping Los Angeles. I think we see a better effort after a surprise loss to Houston last week.

The Panthers are hot garbage. After starting the year 3-0, they’ve gone 2-12 over the next 14. The Saints defense is going to cause problems for Sam Darnold and they will likely win a low-scoring, ugly kind of football game.

Seattle has dropped two in a row and are sitting at 5-10. They won’t make the playoffs and are overall not a very good football team but will they lose three in a row and fall to the Lions at home? As a Jets fan, I would love to see it but the likelihood seems slim. Seattle wins a low-scoring and ugly football game.

Finally, the Cowboys and the Cardinals. Arizona is in free fall mode as they’ve dropped three in a row. I don’t see them snapping out of it against one of the best teams in the league either in the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas wins this one at home and the questions continue to rise for Arizona.

James Conner TD + Dak Prescott over 279.5 passing yards (+220)

We’re going with a same-game parlay for the Cardinals and the Cowboys, my favorite game on this slate. The first leg is a James Conner touchdown. In 14 games for Arizona, he has 16 touchdowns. Sure, he’s cooled off a little bit and didn’t have a touchdown in Arizona’s shocking Week 15 loss to the Lions but with the offense bouncing back here in Week 17, I think Conner is a fairly safe bet to get into the endzone at some point on Sunday.

As for Dak Prescott, he had a nice rebound performance against Washington. He threw for 330 yards in the game and that brought his average per game up to 280 on the season. I expect a tight game which means a shootout and Prescott’s arm becoming a factor. 280 sounds high against this Arizona team but Dak is someone who could put up a quiet 400 in his sleep.

Lions over 16.5 points + Texans over 15.5 points (+224)

Yes, I’m predicting two of the worst teams in the league to score some points. For Detroit, they actually put up 30 two weeks ago and 29 in Week 13. The point is they play hard for coach Dan Campbell and while they likely won’t win this game they should keep it close. A 24-20 kind of loss is what I think we should expect so hammer Detroit over the 16.5 mark.

Honestly, for Houston, this is all Davis Mills. Mills has played fairly good football for a mid-round rookie. In his last three starts, he’s put up 5 touchdowns to just one interception and his team put up 30 and 41 points over the last two weeks. Sure, San Francisco is better than the Chargers and the Jaguars on defense but still, I’m all in on Mills to get this team to 16+ points.
