Cowboys vs. Cardinals Prediction

What has happened to Arizona? They were the last team to lose this year, and now they can't win all of a sudden, losing three in a row and four out of six. We can blame Quarterback Kyle Murray for being out for some of these, but they did win without him, so it's not the Quarterback; it's the defense. They gave up 30 points twice and 22 twice in the last four games, and if you are having an issue with your defense, the last team you want to play is the hot Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas is coming off a true beatdown on Sunday Night Football, putting up 56 points last week against the WFT. They have scored over 21 in their previous four, winning them all. Statistically, this is the #1 offense with 409.5 yards a game and the #1 scoring offense with 30.5 points a game. Dallas has already gotten a playoff spot, but they have bigger fish to fry as they still have a shot at the #1 seed. But with Kirk Cousins out, they can hope, but realistically they are battling the Bucs and the Rams, who have much easier opponents this week. So this is a must-win for the Cowboys to stay in the hunt for that important #2 seed.

Arizona has been without JJ Watt, but we think Deandre Hopkins has been the big loss because Kyler hasn't been the same since he lost Hopkins to a season-ending injury.

What is wrong with Arizona? How can anyone wager or trust this team if their coach doesn't know? "That's what we've got to figure out," Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury said. "I don't have an answer to that, but it's untimely penalties, the snaps hitting the ground, missed kicks. I mean, it's just things that we had done well all year, but we're not doing well (now)." Maybe Kliff should spend less time in that nice house and more time putting together some winning game plans. Whatever he has been doing recently isn't great, and if he doesn't have answers, then Arizona may not win again this year. With Dallas having the Defensive Rookie of the Year in Micah Parsons going for the sack title and the other in Treyvon Diggs trying to set the franchise record for picks, this defense will be all over the Cardinals offense, which just hasn't been the same recently. The Cardinals offense has gone from a team scoring 30+ regularly, early in the year, to a team that broke 30 once and is scoring 10-12-16 in recent games. Right now, you have one team peaking and one team trying to make it to the playoffs. This is not the same team, whether it's the injuries, Kyler's ankle, the coaching, or possibly just a Cardinals thing. The last year they lost five out of the last seven and kept them out of the playoffs.

The Cowboys have covered their last four games, so let's make it five in a row with the team with the most momentum playing for that #2, or possible #1 seed at home against a team who is free-falling fast and when you lose to the Lions and Panthers people lose confidence in you. We don't expect a 42 point beatdown Sunday, but we will settle for a two-touchdown victory from the team that looks like they started the year 7-0 ats and has Tyon Smith back to open holes for that two-headed rushing monster.

We want 5 Sunday good up to 6.5 as you want that touchdown win even though it should be a two-touchdown victory Sunday. So we see a 33-19 possible final.
