Week 17 NFL Player Props: Two Best Bets of the Week

I was pondering life and its meaning this morning and I came to a conclusion. We need a couple NFL player props for Sunday. NFL player props are 100% the key to a happy life. I should know because I bet them all the time and I'm always happy. This can't be a coincidence. Luckily, we have a bazillion NFL games this Sunday so finding these bets won't be hard. I have two right here if you don't feel like going through the whole slate. People helping people, powerful stuff.

Travis Kelce Over 68.5 receiving yards (-117) - Barstool

Chiefs vs. Bengals odds

I went with Barstool here but no worries if you can't play there. FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM all have 69.5 at around -115 so that is definitely playable. I'd just hate to see Kelce land on 69 and lose so I went with the 68.5. Can't really blame me for that one. My hands were pretty much tied.

Kelce was out last week on the COVID list against the Pittsburgh Steelers and it didn't matter. The Chiefs rolled and actually look like a Super Bowl team again which kind of stinks for everyone that is not a Chiefs fan. It was almost a good thing Kelce was out last week because now he's had an extra week to "get right" heading into a game against a real team. Why take unnecessary hits against bottom feeders when you don't have to right?

This week Kansas City will be in Cincinnati taking on the Bengals which should prove to be a tall task. I think the Chiefs win this game but I doubt it's a walk in the park. The Bengals are actually good which is crazy. They can definitely score with Kansas City and that is exactly what we want to happen.

I'm not sure this thing turns into a full-blown shootout but if we get a borderline back and forth game, Kelce should be involved. As good as the Bengals have been on defense, they haven't been great against opposing tight ends. In fact, only two teams have given up more receiving yards to the position. Kelce could easily get this by halftime.

Jaylen Waddle Over 6.5 receptions (+110) - DraftKings

Dolphins vs. Titans odds

This one is best played at DraftKings but you can play it anywhere really. FanDuel has +106, BetMGM has +105 and Barstool has -103. All for 6.5 receptions. I know that's a ton of receptions for a rookie, but we're talking Jaylen Waddle here. Slow your roll with any disrespect.

This kid is absolutely filthy. On top of that, he's Tua Tagovailoa's boy so we have that working for us too. In each of the last four weeks, Waddle has been targeted at least nine times in every game. On top of that, he's caught at least eight of those targets. The kid can't be stopped and Tua knows it.

The cherry on top for this one is the fact that the Dolphins will be playing the Tennessee Titans Sunday. On the season no team in the NFL has given up more receptions to the wide receiver position. Weather won't be great Sunday but the Dolphins don't have a run game to speak of so I think they'll still throw. Waddle's ADOT is under seven yards over the last four weeks so getting him the ball shouldn't be that hard. I think he catches at least seven balls on Sunday.
